I’m talking to students from multiple unis over the next few of weeks and want to give them positive examples of how to get experience in the digital design/software development industry without working for free and being exploited. Anyone have an opportunity or advice to share?

Instead of a traditional leaving gift they got together to raise money for @ManchesterMind.
Together they raised £378 + £94 gift aid.
That pays for 12 young people to have counselling when they need it most

I’ve come up with a simple metric for working out if your presentation is too long. Ask yourself:
“How many episodes of Friends is this?”
If it’s greater that the length of one episode, your presentation is too long.
(Average episode length is 22-23 minutes)
