It isn't doing everything yourself that makes you a strong founder.
It's deciding what only you should carry — and handing the rest away before it breaks the work and you.
1/ This week's Come, Follow Me is in Ezekiel. One of the most honest questions in scripture: “Son of man, can these bones live?” (Ezekiel 37:3)
4/ Then He goes further: “And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live.” (Ezekiel 37:14) Life isn't only restored bodies. It's His spirit within.
It isn't the mirror that decides if surgery is right for you.
It's whether you can picture feeling more at home in your own face afterward — and whether your surgeon listened long enough to understand what that means for you.
God's posture toward people who have fallen isn't "I told you so."
"As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live." (Ezekiel 33:11)
He isn't rooting for your failure. He's inviting you to turn.
It isn't the hard conversation that damages a team.
It's the soft one you keep delaying.
Problems don't shrink while we wait. They recruit.
1/ Nobody warns you about the hardest part of surgery recovery. It isn't the pain or the bruising. It's the doubt that shows up weeks later, right when you're supposed to be "done."
4/ She looks great now. And that doubt is one of the most common things I hear. It doesn't mean something went wrong. It's what healing feels like from the inside.
4/ Then this: "every thing shall live whither the river cometh." (Ezekiel 47:9) The river runs down into a lifeless sea, and even those waters are healed (47:8). No place is too far gone for it to reach.
