We need your help! Bring your new/gently used warm gear to KCTV 5 today & tomorrow. Drive up to our front parking lot (off of Shawnee Mission Pkwy) next to the large container to drop off your donation. Thank you!

Some minor flooding as the Platte River at St. Joe, MO tops its banks
ELECTION TUESDAY- Scattered downpours out there for your morning commute. Have the rain gear all day as a few more scattered showers/rumbles are possible (there will be many dry hours). A stronger cold front comes in during the afternoon and drops your temperatures quickly.
MON 7 PM - sitting in a bit of a lull right now in our area (minus a few little showers). The next batch of stronger storms is still a ways out west. This will work toward us through the late evening. @melissameederwx has you covered!

THU AM- It's a pretty start with a few towering cumulus clouds to the south. Small shower chance for a few hours today.
Friday brings better chances in the early morning and again into the late evening. Halloween also could have a few light shower intervals, but nothing heavy.
New national park alert!
Chiricahua National Monument has officially been redesignated as a national park, becoming America’s 64th national park.
Known as the “Wonderland of Rocks,” this spectacular Arizona landscape was shaped by massive volcanic eruptions and years of erosion, creating the towering rock pinnacles that define Chiricahua today.
Dare I say perfect football weather? Let's go @Chiefs !!!!
