why did you go
we were on a journey
we were not complete
you were in pain
but it was our journey
under enduring duress
we lived the last months
as best we could
until you were ripped from me
in one last breath
your years of pain vanished
leaving me torn
because I miss and love u
can’t see
the fog is too thick
can’t breathe
this side of life is too stuffy
will you lie beside me
take my hand
help breathe me to heaven
as I swim my final journey
toward that place
which awaits us
full of light, love
and no more pain!

I’ve strayed
into an #alcoholic jumble of pain
which one do I numb
w/your elixir
would Jell-O shots
on my spine be a crime
send that fire & fury
of hot poker nerves
onto their own ride thru hell
let them go live there
I think it’s only fair

People who don’t do Twitter don’t get what kind of community those of us on here have, and within that community, there are some that we all look forward to hearing from—who make us laugh, who make us forget, who make us better. @TG22110 was one of those people. He was one of my closest friends on here and was both an ally and mentor to me. I can’t believe you’re gone, TG. Twitter will never be the same without you. We’ll finish the mission, bud. Rest easy in paradise. ❤️

death grows inside me
I am exquisitely afraid
ego is hanging on
w/an earthly grip
we are so enmeshed
I can’t let go of the fear
it’s like trying
to breathe underwater
thus begins the fight
the search for surrender
I remember once
how good it felt
to let go
