Reminder that E. Jean Carroll repeatedly claimed that no one was funding her case against Trump when in reality, Reid Hoffman had funded her entire case against Trump.

WAR: Our leaders have allowed false genocide and mass clandestine grave claims stick, now we’re being threatened with war if the Conservatives repeal a DRIPA, a globalist framework we never should have bound to our laws. More than just DRIPA needs to be tossed. We need to watch the negotiations that follow closely.
WAR Declared By BC's Indigenous If DRIPA Is Repealed- Which Was Promised By The BC Conservative Government.

The second PBO report is crystal clear. We are screwed. Debt-service costs are the fastest-growing federal expense: $25B five years ago → $59.3B this year (already larger than the Canada Health Transfer) → $83B in five years. Pure interest, paid before anything else. Real cash borrowing over five years: $733B. New debt from deficits: only $333B. The ~$400B gap is parked with Crown corporations, loans and special funds — a step removed from parliamentary oversight. New risks, less transparency. PBO Annette Ryan: the government’s fiscal “anchors” provide “very little” discipline. More like traffic lights. Capital spending gets a green light. Operating spending a yellow at best. “It’s not stopping spending.” Carney (like Trudeau) keeps telling us everything is fine. Meanwhile real GDP growth is cut to 0.9% this year. Deficits stay above $63B for years. Debt-to-GDP keeps rising. They rewrite how they report the books so the headlines look pretty while the actual liability grows off-books. Taxpayers get the interest bill. Facts need to be facts. Stop the accounting games. Stop the spending now. This cannot continue. Mark Carney. The Liberals. Name them. Kitchen table first. #cdnpoli
Carney’s “prudent banker” brand is dead. The PBO just showed the books are being cooked Debt-service costs are now the fastest-growing federal expense: $25B five years ago → $59B this year (already larger than the Canada Health Transfer) → $83B in five years. Carney keeps pulling Canada closer to the EU 🇪🇺 Meanwhile in Strasbourg, Ursula von der Leyen gets up and walks out while a Slovak MEP is talking about protests across Europe over housing, prices and energy bills. That's the club Carney thinks is BEST for Canada? Over the neighbour we share an 8,900 km border with, and sell the MAJORITY of our Exports to? 🤦🏻‍♂️ Look at a map, eh? 🇨🇦

Holy shit. I hadn't even considered what a BC NDP leadership convention could look like.
The BC NDP will be having a leadership convention. I hope that as with the federal convention, this dude chairs the provincial one. Should offer some comedy gold again.

🐟 CPC - Carney appointed his wife as 🇨🇦 Ocean Envoy. We asked her to come to committee to explain what her plan, goals & deliverables are for the $1.2 billion she's overseeing. Liberals blocked our motion. Why? ⚔️ Liberals - She's an expert! Asking her to appear & explain herself is an attack! 🔫 CPC - The government isn't a family-run business like the Sopranos though it's looking like one. Why won't you let her appear? ⚔️ This is an attack! She's a volunteer and we should kiss her feet! We're so lucky to have her!

“First Nations have always been generous”. Really, what have you GIVEN Canada? From my perspective after following Canadian government relations with First Nations for the last 50 years, I’ve only seen you TAKING from Canadian taxpayers.
"First Nations have always been generous and supported prosperity for all. But not at the expense of our rights or the environment." Today, at the historic First Nations-First Ministers’ Meeting, the National Chief @chiefcindyafn called on all leaders to honour First Nations rights, title, and jurisdiction as the foundation for true nation-building on these lands. Watch the full address here: ow.ly/1NZ651014o9.

This is why I side with the CCFR. I'm not a gun owner but I support their cause strictly from a property rights perspective. The suggestion by @gary_srp that the guns are to be "returned" implies that they belong to the gov't. And if they can do that for guns, they can do that for anything.
📺 WATCH: Today, Safety Minister @Gary_SRP argued with a reporter over future compensation once the Supreme Court renders a decision in CCFR v Canada "There are people who aren't returning their weapons." "Will they be [compensated with] money once @SCC_eng makes its decision?"

I’ve always wondered why wealthy First Nations bands who own casinos, gas stations, smoke shops, mineral rights, pipelines or other tax-free businesses are not mandated to share some profits with less fortunate bands since most of the businesses are started with government money.
"Access to safe drinking water is an internationally recognized human right." @MarkJCarney is investing over $12B in First Nations communities, targeting critical infrastructure on reserves: - $3.5B for education - $4B for affordable housing - $4.5B for clean water & wastewater systems

"Abolishing the Indian Act" is a popular idea, but only because different groups of Canadians understand what this means in WILDLY different ways. People on the right think it means "no more special status" while people on the left thinks it means "much MORE special status."
Abolish the Indian Act. We have nothing to lose but our chains. We will, of course, need new legislation that is an interface between the Federal government and First Nations. And this MUST be created alongside Chiefs and First Nation governments every step of the way. But it is time to move past the era of this outdated, racist, and patriarchal legislation. I support Prime Minister Carney’s work to position Canada as a global leader in human rights and democracy. The Indian Act is inconsistent with achieving that vision. Our laws at home should reflect the values we champion around the world. It’s time for a relationship with First Nations people that reflects who we are as Canadians today, recognizes nationhood, and lives up to the true nature of reconciliation.

Hate to say it, but the PQ obviously has a point here. It is dumb and disrespectful not to include them.

Having worked in this sector here's the problem: the taxpayer builds a really nice piece of infrastructure; say a water treatment plant. The band demands control of the asset. Being a stone age people there is no cultural tradition of maintaining a piece of infrastructure. The expensive piece of infrastructure fails. Some gas sniffing meth head wannabe burns said failed piece of infrastructure. The CBC then does a hit piece on how X reserve doesn't have clean water. Back to the beginning.

Power does not create justice, and law does not create virtue. Wisdom must guide authority, courage must confront injustice, temperance must restrain ambition, and justice must protect the liberty of all.

Welcome to Woke University, where everything is racist, everyone is oppressed, and common sense is a microaggression. Disagree with someone? Racist. Question a policy? Sexist. Believe in merit? White supremacy. Expect personal responsibility? Victim blaming. Ask for evidence? Hate speech. Treat everyone equally? Apparently, that’s problematic too. The beauty of woke ideology is that you never have to prove your accusations. Just invent an “-ism,” declare yourself offended, and demand an apology. And if you can’t find any discrimination, don’t worry. There’s an entire academic industry willing to help you discover some. When you view the entire world through the lens of oppression, even equality starts looking discriminatory. I’ll stick with judging people by their character, actions, and ideas. Radical stuff, apparently.

The woke Left has performed a miracle. They rejected organized religion, declared traditional morality outdated, and then invented a new religion complete with sacred beliefs, forbidden words, original sin, public confessions, and heresy trials. Their commandments? Thou shalt not question the narrative. Thou shalt confess thy privilege. Thou shalt trust the experts, but only the approved ones. Thou shalt celebrate diversity of everything except opinion. Thou shalt think critically, provided thou reachest the correct conclusion. Congratulations! You’ve escaped religious dogma and replaced it with political dogma. Same unquestioning obedience. Different priesthood. I’ll stick with reason, evidence, individual liberty, and a healthy dose of Stoic scepticism.
