Good look at Ryan Donahoe (@DonahoeRyan17) through his first two innings at the #FiveToolFestival. The LHP has 4K with one hit and no runs allowed working a 3-pitch mix. In the last few years we've seen: - The plot to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer - The Storming of the Capitol and pipe bombs left at the RNC and DNC - The break-in to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and the brutal on Paul Pelosi - Multiple assassination attempts against Trump - The assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband and the shooting of on State Senator John Hoffman and his wife - Luigi Mangione's assassination of Brian Thompson - The assassination of Charlie Kirk Political violence is contagious. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all. The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.

Lost elections are rigged, won elections are fair. Good job numbers are real, bad ones are fake. Sex trafficking is bad, unless the traffickers will blame your enemies. Crime is bad, unless the criminals are pro-Trump. This isn’t 4D chess, or even tic-tac-toe, just Autocracy 101.

Lights out performance ❌ @DTigerBaseball Ahearne/Clay's Gillis Evans (@WelshmanGGE) was stellar on the mound tonight at the @FiveToolTexas AABC #ConnieMack WS Qualifier. The RHP racked up 9K through 5.2 scoreless innings while allowing just 2 hits. Adam Richey (@adamrichey24) ’26 MIF (TX) - super athletic lefty bat that swings it at a very high level, showed some flashes of pop to his pull side, can see a ton more power coming as he fills out, mature approach with high level bat to ball skills, complete hitter that showed he can use the whole field, flys around the bases, going to stretch extra base hits and steal a ton of bags when he gets on, solid defender that can stick up the middle, great range and an arm that plays! #CBRfam

No MLB pitcher has thrown >3IP yet, but high school arms threw complete games in FL this week. And, the HS kids will be playing fall ball four weeks after the World Series ends. The first "fix" for the injury epidemic is more about math and common sense than cutting-edge ideas.

Anticipation in sports: why do some athletes seem to be one step ahead of their opponents?

Some athletes seem to have an ability to predict what’s going to happen in their sports but anticipation is an attribute anyone can develop.

Everyone who endorses the false claim that the US economy of 2024 is an inflation-wracked hellscape of misery for working people ... is doing advance comms work for the Trump administration when in 90 days time they start taking credit for the best economy since the 1960s.
