today is the bidding for 2,500 fungo genesis nfts at 9 pm IST and if you don't know how the auction works here is a simple explanation
first bids are placed in cZAMA which is the confidential version of ZAMA used for the auction
your bid stays encrypted so others cant see how much you are bidding
here is an example to understand how the final price is decided
let's say 4 nfts are available and 5 people place their bids :-
- A bids 2,500 cZAMA
- B bids 2,000 cZAMA
- C bids 1,200 cZAMA
- D bids 900 cZAMA
- E bids 500 cZAMA
the 4 highest bids get the nft
since D has the lowest winning bid 900 cZAMA becomes the final price for everyone
so even though A bid 2,500 and B bid 2,000 both will pay only 900 cZAMA
the extra amount gets refunded while E gets the full refund because their bid didn't make it

if you want to play this campaign smartly then focus on this
> if you can create 5 genuinely different posts covering 5 different aspects of fungo
then you're already ahead of 95% creators
> the team has mentioned that every account will be reviewed manually so don't waste your time in e2e groups
> people are worried that too many users will dilute the rewards
but i wouldn't be surprised if 70–80% of those accounts turn out to be bots or engagement farmers and eventually get filtered out

there are 3,232 nfts so if the allocation is distributed equally each nft holder will receive approximately 1,113,861 $fungo
> 7% goes to zama og nft holders
there are 4,996 nfts so if distributed equally each holder will receive approximately 140,112 $fungo
> 3% of the total supply will be allocated to the X campaign
one important thing the 10% of the total supply is allocated to the team
these tokens will be locked for 12 months and then unlocked gradually over the next 36 months
now let's talk about the main thing that what the price would be at different fdvs
If $fungo launches at :-

before making claims about crypto destroying the global economy or linking it to regime change movements i think we should first try to understand the technology
yes the @binance security breach was serious and billions worth of assets were stolen but binance has committed to covering the losses and has already replenished approximately 95% of the affected assets
if we are discussing financial security lets also look at what is happening in traditional banking
remember the recent @pnbindia case in greater noida where customers reported unauthorised transactions and missing savings and fixed deposits with initial allegations putting the amount at around ₹35 crore
i am not saying crypto is free from risks hacks exploits and security failures are serious problems that need to be addressed
but blaming an entire technology for the failures of a platform while ignoring similar problems in traditional finance isn't a fair comparison
crypto and web3 are still evolving instead of spreading assumptions and making baseless allegations we should focus on understanding the technology its risks and its potential
i am not hating you or saying anything against you but the assumptions you are making simply don't make any sense
