We got success last season from Greens forward runs from midfield. Now Green is too high too early to allow us to build. And forces us longer. Opposition teams have cottoned onto it. Over the past few games we’ve been poor because the other team (cont) #gtfc

Have set up with 2 players higher up and pressing us. Port Vale did it last week, and Northampton did it today. This means our units are too far away from each other in play. Start with Green deeper. Wingers higher and closer to ST (cont)

And play through midfield more. Then have midfield runners in the box. Teams will then not be able to press us as much and force us long. Frustrating; but we will get through this period. Also, I’d like to see Foulkes start and Rodgers CB now #GTFC

Just hope my parents can get tickets. Not missed a home or away game all season. Travelled for miles all season, and for seasons gone by. Likelihood is they won’t get a ticket as I can see people camping out and at 67 and 69 year old they won’t be. Such a shame #GTFC

Unreal experience yesterday. NCEL Premier Division Play Off Final. On the line, 1000+ fans. To be chosen from over 120 assistant referees on the biggest game of the season, a real honour! Lot of hard work gone into this; buzzing!

Mid season promotion. Let’s hope the weather improves so I can actually referee a game! Last two have been ❌. Enjoying the journey. Turns out I’m not too bad at this. #referee #promotion

Over the moon for Elliot. As a footballer he is very talented. I’ve seen him give defenders nightmares from a young age. But also a top person. A polite, intelligent and nice young man. Delighted for him and his family. Well done to all at @GTFCAcademy too. Another one!
