It is beyond ridiculous that this man is still a life peer and retains the Labour whip.

Palestinian Culture must and will survive. Its natural beauty is indestructible, as is the spirit.
Sliman Mansour was a leading Palestinian artist whose work captured the Palestinian people’s culture of steadfastness in the face of their ongoing struggles for recognition, rights, and freedom.

It looks like @netanyahu will lose the election in Israel and the Republicans will lose the midterms because of Trump. Very dangerous for Iran. Both men are desperate. Kudos to Iran for not being intimidated and not giving up against bullies and liars. Our hearts are with you.

Rien.

Great news from France…

Two ILLEGALLY OCCUPYING SOLDIERS as confirmed in the HIGHEST COURT in the WORLD! Illegal occupiers that have been overseeing & supporting the rampant violence of SETTLERS murdering Palestinians, slaughtering flocks & burning olive trees & attempting to raze villages to the ground! Palestinians have the same rights under international law as ANY other occupied people. STOP BEING STENOGRAPHERS FOR GENOCIDERS!
The IDF says two Israeli soldiers were killed in a shooting in the West Bank Friday, sparking Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to close off the entire area in what he described as a thwarted potential "major attack."
After the shooting in Hebron, the IDF says Israeli security forces killed two alleged gunman, who they say were Palestinian.

The Bell report on antisemitism in schools "is politically biased, drawing inappropriate conclusions from flawed data. It will stifle debate and foster mistrust."

I’ve been trying to get to Hebron for the past 24 hours, but almost every checkpoint and gate across the West Bank has been shut down by the occupation
Palestinians in the West Bank are locked inside their own villages (and some are unable to get home)
A war is coming to the West Bank
Yesterday Palestinian resistance fighters conducted a surgical strike against Israeli occupation soldiers, fully in accordance with international law.
In response, Israeli government immediately announced that they will do war crimes and started doing war crimes.
All the Palestinian villages in the West Bank are under siege, the city of Hebron is under siege. IDF is demolishing house after house, raiding family after family. They said they want to turn Hebron into Rafah.
More than 250 families were kicked out into the streets with nothing. People slept on the street last night.
The Israeli election is in 3 days, and the Netanyahu-Smotrich government is going to use this to start a war in the West Bank.
The only way to stop this is pressure from all directions. We know it works. International pressure worked for the besieged house in Qusra, which still belongs to the Palestinians because of the all-around attention. It can work for Hebron too.
But it will require EVERYONE reading this doing everything they can to stop this. Call your representative, hold a demonstration, organise direct action against the occupation’s assets abroad. Keep attention on the West Bank.
ACT NOW.

Veteran GPEW member, environmentalist and former director of Friends of the Earth, Jonathon Porritt, has endorsed the Zionism is Racism policy.
"Zionism is a political ideology, not a religion. Not an ethnic group. As such, of course Zionism today is racism."

Since this morning, I’ve been unable to leave my home. All checkpoints in H2 and exits from Hebron are closed. Israeli forces have begun demolishing homes and shops near the site of the attack.
Residents are living in fear, cut off from basic necessities.
We urgently call on the UN, international governments, and humanitarian organizations to act now: protect civilians, demand an end to unlawful demolitions and collective restrictions, and ensure safe access to essential supplies and emergency services.
Hebron must not be forgotten. We need urgent action, not just statements of concern.

My speech in front of Elbit’s factory in Filton yesterday, standing face to face with Israel’s military infrastructure.
There is something so bewildering about the banality of its presence next to an Argos and Sainsbury’s depot, and yet it is the territory on British soil most complicit in the genocide in Gaza, that has resulted in the arrests of over 3700 British citizens, the corrosion of our legal system, and even the banning of @sally_rooney’s books.
Solidarity with the #Filton25.
Shut #Elbit down.
