The video ends with the words “an olive tree grows in Gracie”, which NYC lit nerds will recognize as a nod to Betty Smith’s 1943 novel “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.” The Mayor sent a classy message to Netanyahu right as he speaks now while paying homage to classic NYC. Immaculate.

Never been to the opera before?
Now’s your chance. We’re giving away 70,000 free tickets to the @MetOpera at the iconic Lincoln Center. Go to on.nyc.gov/opera to enter the lottery. There’s not a bad seat in the house.

New York: Heavy rain and possible flooding are expected beginning late tonight and continuing through tomorrow morning.
Please take this seriously. Flash flooding can develop quickly anywhere in our city.
If you live in a basement apartment or an area that has flooded before, prepare now. If flooding begins, move to higher ground immediately. Stay out of flooded streets and never drive through floodwaters.
If you are trapped or in immediate danger, call 911. Report downed trees, blocked catch basins and other non-emergency hazards to 311.

Are you asking my buddy not to play fighting game in a FGC event with a 3am arcade room? My lady they have seen Enough ghost at home with that soulless rank . There is no time for other shit beside offline gaming engagements. No man choose not to play with their buddy in FGC offline event. Just like kid has a gathering can show their Pokémon card to each other . You can’t stop it.

This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days.
ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.

One prominent politician who hasn't chimed in yet on the reversal of @USMNT's Folarin Balogun's 1-game suspension: Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
Before the suspension was reversed, tho, Mamdani said on his "Morning Pitch" stream yesterday that Balogun was "cruelly" given a red card.
