Manchester United have ruined or wasted so many talented players over the years:
1. Paul Pogba: Left United and became a world-class midfielder at Juventus. Returned for a huge fee and never consistently reached those heights again.
2. Jadon Sancho: Was one of Europe's most exciting young wingers at Dortmund. United spent £73 million on him and never got the player they expected.
3. Wilfried Zaha: Arrived with huge potential but barely got opportunities. Returned to Crystal Palace and became one of their most important players.
4. Donny van de Beek: Was a key player in Ajax's Champions League run. United barely gave him consistent opportunities.
5. Memphis Depay: Arrived as a highly rated young star after finishing as the Eredivisie's top scorer. Rebuilt his reputation at Lyon after leaving United.
6. Alexis Sánchez: Was one of Arsenal's biggest stars before joining United. His time at Old Trafford became a massive disappointment.
7. Ángel Di María: Arrived after starring for Real Madrid and helping them win the Champions League. Lasted just one season at United.
8. Romelu Lukaku: Scored goals at United but never seemed to fit the team's needs. Left for Inter Milan and helped them win Serie A.
9. Henrikh Mkhitaryan: Joined after an outstanding season at Borussia Dortmund. Struggled for consistency before finding success elsewhere.
10. Anthony Martial: Arrived as one of Europe's most exciting teenage forwards. Injuries and inconsistency stopped him from fulfilling his early promise.
11. Adnan Januzaj: Looked like a potential United superstar as a teenager. Never established himself as a consistent first-team player.
12. Harry Maguire: Arrived for a record fee for a defender and became captain. His confidence and reputation took a major hit during his difficult years at United.
13. Jesse Lingard: Came through the academy and enjoyed some strong moments. His United career eventually stalled, and he struggled for consistency.
14. Andreas Pereira: Spent years struggling to establish himself at United. Found more consistent football after leaving for Fulham.
15. Bastian Schweinsteiger: Arrived as a World Cup winner and Bayern Munich legend. His United career was short and disappointing.
16. Eric Bailly: Started brightly and looked like a promising centre-back. Injuries and inconsistency stopped him from becoming a regular starter.
17. Marcus Rashford: Went from academy sensation to a player whose future at United became uncertain. Eventually needed a fresh start away from Old Trafford.
18. Mason Greenwood: Emerged as one of United's most promising young forwards, but his career at the club ended after serious allegations led to his suspension. The criminal case was later discontinued.
19. Anthony Elanga: Struggled to secure a regular role at United before leaving. Developed into a more effective attacking player at Nottingham Forest.
20. Scott McTominay: Was often criticised and eventually sold. Went on to win Serie A with Napoli.
21. Dean Henderson: Spent years competing for a place without becoming United's undisputed first choice. Left and later won the FA Cup with Crystal Palace.
22. Antony: United paid a huge fee for him, but he struggled to justify it. His loan spell at Real Betis showed a different side to his game.
The problem is bigger than one manager or one transfer window. United have repeatedly signed talented players and failed to get the best out of them.

There is a tidy version of John Healey. St Peter's School, York. Christ's College, Cambridge. Twenty nine years in Parliament. Now the Chancellor, signing the cheques, setting the budget, deciding what you are allowed to keep.
There is another version. It is not tidy.
In 1997 he took a Rotherham seat. For the sixteen years that followed, in the streets he represented and the schools he walked past, fourteen hundred girls were being passed around by men the state had quietly decided not to notice. Some of them twelve. One was doused in petrol and told to burn if she talked.
He was their MP. He had a seat, a voice, a vote, and the standing to make a noise. He made none.
In 2012 the Times finally broke it and demanded an inquiry. His own website still carries the verdict. He had an open mind. He was "not convinced this would help the abused girls."
Not convinced. Fourteen hundred of them. One of the few men in the country who could have forced the truth out, and he wanted more time.
Then he sued the woman who said so.
A UKIP MEP, Jane Collins, accused him and two colleagues of knowing and doing nothing. They took her to court and won. Fifty four thousand pounds each. Healey pocketed his. He did not give it to the girls. He kept it. He had been called out for inaction and he turned it into income.
The pattern held. Forty thousand pounds from two donors whose addresses the register lists only as "private," while he lectured Farage on secret money. His own council tax, on his own second home, unpaid, an administrative error, and he meant to claim the fifteen hundred back from you while his party took the winter fuel payment from millions of pensioners.
Then, in June, he resigned as Defence Secretary with a letter that buried Keir Starmer. Six weeks later Starmer was gone. Burnham moved in. And Burnham made Healey Chancellor.
The knife went in. The chair was warm. The reward was the Treasury.
Now he wants to tax the banks, because a war abroad has emptied the purse and the IMF has told him to cut spending instead. He has run out of other people's money and he is going through the City's sofa cushions.
Meanwhile the legacy gathers dust. The Child Trust Fund, his idea, one point six billion pounds of children's own money left to rot in forgotten accounts while the City takes a hundred million a year in fees. Housing, where he decided families renting rather than owning was "a good thing." A children's charity he vouched for, whose founder was later convicted of child sexual abuse. In Rotherham. Of course.
The girl who was twelve is thirty seven now. She lives with it every day.
He was not convinced her rape was worth an inquiry.
And now he decides how much of your money you keep.
That is the Chancellor.

MEET THE WOMAN WHO LOST £44 MILLION, THEN GOT PROMOTED FOR IT
Labour says Jackdaw is about energy security. Her last job is now a crime scene.
Yesterday the Energy Secretary approved gas production at Jackdaw. Her words: "following careful consideration of all relevant factors". Labour's words: "homegrown gas has a role to play in our energy security". Her own admission: it will not bring your bills down.
Now the file.
Born Monrovia, Liberia, 1979. Her father, Henry Boimah Fahnbulleh Jr, was Foreign Minister to Samuel Doe, the master sergeant who seized power in a 1980 coup and had the sitting president executed. The family fled in 1986. Britain took them in.
Beechwood Sacred Heart, fee paying. Then Oxford. Then a PhD at the LSE. Then six years running the New Economics Foundation. July 2024, elected for Peckham. Five days later, a minister. Her brief: ECO4, the insulation scheme.
23 January 2025, she tells the House of "widespread non-compliance" with installation standards. July 2025, an audit of 60,000 homes finds more than 30,000 fitted to no standard at all. Her own word to Parliament: "systemic failure". Ninety three year old Margaret Chappell in County Durham, watching brown mould eat her wall.
22 April 2026. The Serious Fraud Office. Four arrested. Six addresses searched. Three firms named. At least £44 million in claims. Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, chairman of the Public Accounts Committee: a "charlatan's charter".
Three weeks later she resigns. Not over the insulation. Over Starmer. First minister out of the door, demanding a "timetable for an orderly transition".
Ten weeks after that, Burnham hands her Energy Security and Net Zero. A Privy Counsellor by the next morning.
Verdict: the scheme she ran is under criminal investigation, the homes are still rotting, and she now decides what comes out of the ground. She fails upward with the calm of a woman who has never once been asked a follow up question. This government does not do consequences.

My dear Stephen,
How lovely to see you marking the sixtieth. One of the darkest days in our history, etched in the memory of the nation, a community of such strength. All true. And all of it happening to somebody else.
Here is the part your tribute left in the drawer. The tribunal found the Coal Board wholly to blame and said the disaster "could and should have been prevented". The Coal Board then demanded £250,000 from the disaster fund to clear the tip that killed them. The fund, raised by public donation for the families, handed over £150,000.
Your party's government applied the pressure, in secret. George Thomas objected, then folded, and leaned on the trustees until they folded too. The Charity Commission sat on its hands. Nobody was prosecuted.
It took thirty years to give it back. In July 1997 Ron Davies, your party's first Welsh Secretary of that spell, returned the £150,000 without interest and without inflation, and conceded the demand should never have been made.
So yes. Remembering is lovely. Your lot billed the bereaved for clearing the mine's own tip.
Twenty three likes. Five retweets. And looking more like your father every year.
Do carry on, pet.

To anyone connected to the Labour Party expressing phoney outrage over Reform's Spicy Comments Scandal, a quick reminder:
In February of last year, leaked messages from a private WhatsApp group of Labour MPs called “Trigger Me Timbers” revealed: wishing death on a pensioner, wishing a cyclist would be killed, numerous antisemetic and racist comments about Mossad and Diane Abbott, mocking people with disabilities, showing contempt for constituents by calling them retards, wankers, and arseholes, and sexist jokes.
So, please, just climb down from your high horse and shut the fuck up, yeah?

Education Secretary Lucy Powell pocketed 3,500 pounds in luxury hospitality paid directly by the United Arab Emirates government.
She also happily accepted free tickets on five separate occasions from Manchester City, the exact same football club Burnham protects from financial cheating charges.

🚨 THE STAGGERING DAMAGE LABOUR INFLICTED ON GREAT BRITAIN IN JUST SEVEN DAYS!
I need every taxpayer to look at the absolute trail of destruction Burnham and his cabinet left behind over the past week alone.
While working families struggle to pay their bills, the Westminster establishment has been busy dismantling our country piece by piece:
*The Ministry of Justice paused tougher life sentences for child rapists just to save 350 prison beds, right after releasing hundreds of convicted criminals onto our streets.
*Burnham openly floated a second Brexit referendum on television and confirmed that dragging Great Britain back into the European Union is firmly on the table.
*Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy backed a disgraceful plan to force every household to pay a mandatory BBC tax on their broadband bills even if they do not own a television.
*Nature Minister Jenny Riddell Carpenter publicly smeared traditional British country pubs, pints of ale, and pet black labradors as a dangerous far right fantasy.
*Shabana Mahmood approved blowing 250 million pounds to dump a massive migrant compound into the tiny Oxfordshire village of Piddington while British veterans sleep rough.
*Justice Minister Jake Richards went on BBC Question Time and deliberately refused to commit to stopping the small boats until the studio audience groaned in absolute disgust.
These out of touch socialists are treating our nation like a radical ideological playground and bleeding the domestic working class dry to pay for it!
I am sick to death of watching arrogant politicians destroy the country my grandparents built!!
Retweet this immediately to expose the disastrous reality of this government to every single voter before they do any more damage. 🇬🇧🔥

Kevin Maguire on @bbcquestiontime, blaming the public again. Illegal migration is our fault. We’re racist. We’re scaremongering. Shut up, peasants.
“They’re fleeing terror. They’re coming here because we went there.”
So foreign policy is now an open-ended right to skip the queue. We went somewhere, therefore anyone from there can turn up illegally and stay. Convenient.
Legal migration, of course, is wonderful. They all work. They contribute hugely. Diversity heaven. Some even score for Sunderland. Repeat after him: diversity is our strength.
They’re in hotels, he says, because we won’t let them work. No. They come for the handouts, not the jobs. We often don’t know who they are, which is dangerous, and we don’t need more people competing for work and holding wages down. We need our own people in jobs.
Maguire’s real complaint is the standard of the free hotel and the fact they only get £10 a day. Not the boats. Not the cost. Not the vetting. The accommodation isn’t nice enough for people who entered illegally.
He finishes by telling you to stop “demonising and scaremongering”. Mention the crimes and you’re a racist, because they’re black and brown. The boats, the bills, the offending: none of it counts. Objection itself is the offence. Call the public bigots and the argument is over. That’s the whole routine.
Completely out of touch.

🚨 EXPOSED: ANDY BURNHAM HANDED 55 MILLION POUNDS OF TAXPAYER CASH TO MAN CITY OWNERS!
Remember when Burnham panicked on national television last month to fiercely defend Manchester City against Premier League financial cheating charges?
Now I have the official paper trail explaining exactly why he acts like a dedicated public relations agent for the United Arab Emirates!
Official records prove that during his time as mayor, Burnham personally chaired the meetings that handed 55 million pounds in taxpayer loans to Jersey based property companies ultimately controlled by Man City owner Sheikh Mansour.
This cash was drained straight out of a 300 million pound state housing fund supposedly reserved for struggling local developers.
Instead of helping British builders construct homes, Burnham rubber stamped a massive taxpayer loan for the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates!
Sheikh Mansour is one of the richest men on the planet and could secure private corporate finance in thirty seconds.
Yet Burnham gave a foreign billionaire preferential access to a public cash machine funded entirely by your hard earned wages!!!!!
Labour politicians are bleeding the domestic working class dry with brutal taxes while secretly operating a VIP fast lane for Middle Eastern royalty.
Retweet this investigation immediately to expose Andy Burnham and demand a full parliamentary inquiry into this Man City money scandal. 🇬🇧🔥
I'm not sure how many reasons you need to never vote for the retarded Green party, but surely this one is all you need. She has done a report and thinks builders don't need a van, just a bike, and even fridges can be delivered by bike. This thicko is in the London Assembly....

.@andyburnham No, you haven't set out a different path for Britain. You've delivered a conference wish list and called it a plan.
A National Care Service in the next Parliament. Pension reform from 2030. A commission on electoral reform. A European "reset" still to be negotiated. "Greater public control" without explaining what it will cost or how it will work.
Meanwhile, what happens now? How will you stop illegal Channel crossings and remove those with no right to remain? Where is the credible plan for cheap, reliable energy? How will you restore growth and get public spending under control?
You're not Leader of the Opposition. You're Prime Minister, with a large Commons majority and the power to act now. So spare us the promise to "hope again". Tell us what you will deliver now, how you will deliver it, what it will cost and when we will see the results.
The country doesn't need another promise of what Britain might become after 2029. It needs you to govern the country you lead today.
A new National Care Service. Greater public control of water, energy, and housing. A National Commission on Electoral Reform. Strengthening our relationship with Europe. Reforming the education and welfare system.
Today I set out a different path for Britain.
You may disagree with some or all of what I have said today. But I have given you what you often say is missing from politics.
Honesty, ideas and a clear direction for the country we all love.
If you agree with enough of what I have said, get behind this plan. And get behind each other.
It's time to draw a line.
To move beyond a decade of drift and division.
To bring a spirit of unity and positivity back to our country.
To unlock the working-class aspiration that is still there in every postcode.
To hope again.

Brexit didn’t fail. The political class refused to use it.
We voted to take back control of our laws, borders, trade and regulation. Westminster got those powers, refused to use them, then blamed Brexit for its own failure.
Now Burnham's answer is to hand powers back to Brussels.
"Brexit has done more harm than good."
Andy Burnham says he will 'lay out options' at the next reset summit to tighten the relationship between the EU and UK.

They are not in charge.
Labour is the shopfront. The men you see on the news are hired to look like government.
The architects sit behind them. No seat. No vote. They write the brief. The minister reads it. While the country shouts at the face, they dismantle the rest.
We are shouting at the dummy. The hand is behind the curtain.
James Purnell runs No10. Blair’s old minister. Flint Global. He writes the day.
Matthew McGregor writes the story. 38 Degrees. Hope Not Hate. Obama’s campaign. He writes the feeling.
Jonathan Powell runs the dangerous bit. Blair’s chief of staff. National Security Adviser under Starmer. Still there under Burnham. Chagos. China. He stays so the policy does not die when the face changes.
Then the cage.
Strasbourg. The Hague. The Human Rights Act. Treaties you never voted to keep. Lawyers who call it values. The minister reads it out and goes home.
That is why they all sound the same.
None of them can answer a question that was not in the pack.
The row stays on the dummy.
The minister takes the hit.
The man who wrote the line is not even in the shot.
That is the trick.
Keep the country busy with the face.
The hand never has to answer.
The MP is the mouth.
The machine is the author.
England is not being failed by idiots.
England is being administered by people who will never stand for election, through people who will.

Charles Spencer's profiting of Princess Diana's memory and death needs to be exposed:
🛑 Made £25M touring her bridal gown and personal items across the US
🛑 Made £15 million more displaying them at Althorp for 15 years -to 2013
🛑 That grift only stopped in 2013 when Prince William turned 30 and took legal control of his mother's personal possessions and moved them back to Kensington Palace.
🛑 Made £11 million on Althorpt ickets sales since 2014.
🛑 Allegedly being paid millions for a Netflix doc exploiting Diana and doing what he complained the media has done.
Now Earl Spencer is profiting off his sister yet again with a £10M propaganda book. He has profited over £61+ million of his sister Diana's memorey and death. Total hypocrisy. xitter.cf/audrey_fforbes/status/…

🚨Roberto De Zerbi’s outburst on Tottenham 2:3 home loss to Aston Villa:
‘Ladies and gentlemen.
I am tired. I am disappointed. I am angry with myself first, because I believed.
I came here in March.’
‘I signed five years. I said yes when this club was one point from the Championship. I said I would stay even if we went down. I gave my word. The club gave me money, a lot of money. Almost four hundred million in one summer. Tonali, Fernandes, Marmoush, Savio, Mudryk… names, numbers, wages. We spent like a club that wants to fight at the top.’
‘And what do I see on the pitch?
Players who run for the contract, not for the shirt. Players who look at the clock, look at the camera, look at the next agent meeting. When the ball is lost they walk. When we must press they wait for someone else. When we have a chance they take the safe pass. That is not football. That is business.’
‘Their behaviour tells me everything. No hunger. No shame. No respect for the badge, for the supporters who pay and travel and sing even when we cannot score a single Premier League goal. Four games. Zero goals. You can buy talent. You cannot buy the feeling that this club is bigger than your salary.’
‘I regret joining. I say it clearly. I thought Tottenham still had a soul. I thought the project was football. Instead I find a dressing room that smells of money and a board that cannot even sack me because the contract is too expensive. Twenty-five million, thirty million to get rid of me, so they keep me. I stay because it is cheaper. That is the reality.’
‘I am not a tourist. I am not here for the wage. I work every day, I shout, I show, I stay late. Some of these players treat training like a photoshoot. They want the Premier League lifestyle without the Premier League pain.’
‘If they are not ready to suffer for this club, they should not wear this shirt. I will not hide it. I am disappointed. I am tired. And I will not pretend everything is fine while we play like men who already cashed the cheque.
Thank you.’
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The lengthy quote attributed to Roberto De Zerbi after Tottenham's 2-3 loss to Aston Villa is fabricated; no such outburst was reported and his actual comments are measured and constructive.
