Harry Kane is an incredible, incredible footballer. Worked so hard to get to the top of the game and deserves everything that he gets. He is an example and role model to everyone. One of our own.

Absolutely shambolic and disgraceful stat from my good friend @AlasdairGold here: Villa's win meant Unai Emery has more Premier League victories at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with the Midlands club (four) than the past three Spurs head coaches combined.

Unequivocally, 100% correct. Anyone debating it does not know ball. It was neither a volley nor a half volley. Sensational goal, though it was.

Some excellent work by @Tesco and/or @RoyalMail as Clubcard coupons arrive in the post, only for the first two to already be out date. Use by September 6 and use by September 13. Nice work.

Are they claiming that Dorgu was actually attempting to play the ball with that block on the cross and that's why it was onside? Or was the camera angle just really crap and Haaland was actually onside?

He was actually onside. Ok then.

It's red, but why has Bruno Fernandes not been given something for the initial kick on Foden on the floor?

Think they both should have been sent off really. VAR can see that Fernandes has kicked Foden while he was on the floor and should be dealing with that as well. Unacceptable.

Don't fancy putting another train on @TLRailUK so children using your service in the mornings can get to school on time, no?

Wrote a similar piece at the start of the summer, but with the transfer window closed, felt it was pertinent to take stock and really take a look at how things have changed at Tottenham this summer under De Zerbi. #thfc #coys givemesport.com/tottenham-of…

I spent my entire childhood supporting a team that was mediocre. Then, things improved under Martin Jol and eventually Mauricio Pochettino, making me think I supported a proper team. Are we destined to be just be constantly shit again? #thfc #coys

Twenty-year-old Archie Gray will likely captain Tottenham Hotspur today in the first Premier League game of the season today. Let that sink in. What a moment it will be for the youngster. #thfc #COYS
