What a great initiative- and at no cost and with volunteer crew. Great job @Qantas take a bow.
Flying Aussies home 🇦🇺 On behalf of the Australian Government, we will operate two non-stop flights between Larnaca, Cyprus and Sydney to help Australians in Lebanon return home free of charge.   The flights will be operated using Qantas Boeing 787s and will be able to carry more than 440 passengers, with the first service expected to depart Larnaca in Cyprus on Monday evening (local time), arriving in Sydney on Tuesday. The second direct Dreamliner service is expected to depart on Wednesday. Thank you to our amazing flight crew and team who are working hard behind the scenes to make these special assistance flights possible. Why is stopping misinformation fascist? I would have thought that misinformation was what supported the spread of fascism?
Australian PM dismissed Elon Musk’s claims that the Labor government is “fascist,” stating 𝕏 has a “social responsibility.” Australia proposed a law to fine social networks upto 5% of global revenue for failing to curb misinformation. Its a clear attack on free speech.
