Book Tasting Day! Students sample a chapter or two from 3 books. Then they “doggie bag” what they want more of for home. Each grade gets their own prix fixe. Kids were so excited. #sharonstrong @FCSchoolsGA

#sharonstrong As a teacher, you wonder if the 12 hour days you put in are really making a positive impact on your students. “Am I making a difference?” Then you receive a message from a former student’s parent, and the answer makes your heart happy and brings tears to your eyes.
#sharonstrong #FCSfoundation Thank you Forsyth County for the amazing grant-students use the engineering design process to build robotic arms with LEGO SPIKE Prime robotic kits. Infante’s class had amazing ideas. I can’t wait to see their prototypes!
#sharonstrong #missionmoon #NASA Simulating craters crashing into the Moon’s regolith. Measured mass and width of asteroids and depth/width of craters. Analyzed data- Mass made more of an impact than size of impactors. Messy and fun learning!
