GET YOUR MONEY RIGHT WITH $SOFI
Q3 was a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come in less than a decade. But equally clear of the massive opportunity still in front of us
In 2018, we had 650,000 members and one primary business. Now, 17.1 million @SoFi members use 26.7 million products. We delivered record adjusted net revenue of $1.4B, record adjusted EBITDA of $470M and raised our outlook through 2027 for $6.4 billion in revenue $2.24 billion of adjusted EBITDA, $1.28 billion in Net Income a 20% margin and $0.90 in EPS
Our conviction has never been greater. We’re still early in SoFi’s journey, and our ambitions for the future remain as bold as ever.
Thank you to our members and clients for trusting us to help you get your money right.

$SOFI
Expect $0.17 earnings tomorrow (guidance met). Stock will likely sell off. Expect more excuses on tech platform revenues.
I like it when stocks are down going into the earnings. Having said that, I need this shitty ticket up immediately.
All the criticism and the frustration on $SOFI stock price aside, @SoFi leadership has been executing well and making good capital allocation decisions, like the share offering at $27.5/share. SoFi is building a brand. Zero fees. Better benefits for us. Efficient system.
Yes, tech platform has largely disappointed.
Yes, credit cards were not managed well.
Yes, SoFi itself continues to have tech issues, like credit card declining non-fraudulent payments, debit card crashing.
Nobody is perfect though the management has been executing well overall. Progress is clearly seen with higher deposits, growing member count and product offerings.
$SOFI Plus now offers true value. My favorite SoFi offerings
1) 4.7% APY for the first $20k in savings account
2) 1% taxable brokerage match

MY THOUGHTS ON SOFIE
Sofi announced tokenized deposits (sofie) a few days ago.
I've seen many commentators who lauded the action as giving retail account holders a very large apy, supported by fdic insurance.
I've heard from people that said people will move their savings to sofie.
So yes, to an extent that canibalizes some of their savings deposit. But remember, sofi plus members get 4.7% so you won't lose them and will probably grow that offering
What it is however designed to do is twofold.
First, it's designed to accelerate retail deposit growth because 4.4% is at the top of all yields (22% higher than hood pays at 3.6%).
That also sets these new retail customers up to buy and use stablecoins to settle MasterCard and possibly other payments, especially once retailers sign up as big business clients.
Most people see that because of their experience in chasing apy savings yields.
But if you're a controller of a small business or even a big business, you can switch from money market funds to the Sofie tokenized deposits, hey greater security, ensure a much bigger yield and more easily transfer to stablecoins for payments.
This is part of their integrated model forbig business banking for the future as I discussed in the Trojan Horse series.
This won't be that relevant for the third quarter results but shows they are makining progress in all the infrastructure they need for big business banking and a tech comeback
Time will tell
Time for another podcast in a month or so? @anthonynoto @stevenfiorillo @amitisinvesting
@SoFi is a great product for those who want to get their money right and build the life you want.
Pay yourself first
Long-term productive assets first. Then expenses.
Slow and steady is fast.
No more gambling or speculating.
$SOFI will have to adjust the fair values of their loans given the jump in the Treasury yields.
While they can keep these loans and collect the full amount, higher Treasury yields push the multiple down, increase risks.
Trump f'ed us with the Iran war and inflation.
I like $SOFI here at P/TBV <2.
-Employment is doing well.
-No more share offerings anytime soon, and cash is getting deployed as loans, and they'll soon get to a point where fee-based revenue will increase in percentage likely in 2027.
First, I don't agree with Noto here where he says SoFi should command P/TBV ~5 given their margins will be at 20-30% range. Nobody cares what their future margins "guide" will be. Everyone cares what their margin today is (<10%). When they get to 20-30%, they'll maybe get their x4 P/TBV.
Market will assign a higher multiple as this takes place.
-Tech platform needs revenues (>20%), and they need it fast. Otherwise get ready to see x15 P/E.
$SPY is still near ATH and if it bleeds more, SoFi is almost guaranteed to fall further and deeper.
$SOFI is already at a similar valuation vs April 2025 lows.
Market may reward $SOFI massively (say x2) if they actually start making good money from SOFID or from some big business banking revenues, similar to when LPB was launched in fall 2024.
I trust the management's capital deployment skills and willing to hold it here...

Speculation: SoFi paid off the 2026 convertibles with cash, which is why the stock outperformed yesterday.
