I want to make an addendum to this - with a public apology to @scaptiq and @Winzilp.
While a lot of things on the internet may be in or out of context, but I said things that genuinely hurt two innovative people who built truly innovative things for streamers.
I regret what I said to them. I regret getting heated with them. I grew up with parents that were heated people in conflict.
I'm working every day of my life to not be that person anymore.
If you've seen what they put out there months ago, I acted in fear of survival. I gave up my paycheck for Velora to exist and be funded. I gave up my security.
I would never hurt a person, animal, anything living, except mosquitoes and roaches.
The version of me from last year, from months ago, from other periods of time...is not the person I am today.
I have been hiding from the past trying to figure out how to be a better person.
I made peace with @PrimelordTech who I respect heavily. I never got the chance to make peace with the other outgoing members of the original team. I hope they are living their best lives and I wish them 100% the best.
I deserved to be painted as a heated person. I would've never done anything to hurt anyone, and have never, but I know I was heated at one point in history, and this one is the one thing left I need to make peace with.
I am holding up the last white flag my health can handle as I've been dogpiled for days.
These folks alongside @PetXIII who was a good friend of mine, who I lost a friendship with (and I genuinely miss these friendships) - I apologize. You were right. I was wrong. I made a mistake. I fucked up. I hid.
I'm socially awkward and deal with social anxiety. I'm not designed for anything other than having a good vision and executing it. I'm a writer, my most important things are the songs for my late parents.
As brutal as it is, this was originally published early this year and republished across different platforms. It shows that yes, I was my father's child - cutthroat and hard.
I do not want to be that person anymore. I've been working on that. I'm still working on it.
Bear with me. I'm only human. But what I believe is what I believe and I believe we deserve better out there in streaming and I'm still going to push forward for that.

Hi there, Cory here, Founder/CEO of Velora.tv and I'm answering questions people have asked, for sake of transparency and honesty. This is the definitive version of the questions asked so I'm not having to repeat myself.
- First, my core medical conditions: degenerative disc & bone disease, congestive heart failure, cardiac arrythmia, agoraphobia (post CHF hospital recovery in 2019), anxiety & panic disorder (also post CHF hospital recovery). Medically housebound.
- Have I ever used Claude or ChatGPT products? Yes. In the past.
- Do I use them today? No.
- Is Sage locally hosted? Yes.
- Is Sage trained on people? No.
- Have I had coding help in my life from both humans and machine? Yes.
- Do I think training on people is okay? No.
- Will Velora ever train on people? No.
- Will I condemn people for their individual choices? No, because I'm not here to bully or badger.
- Why do I even have a CEO title? Carrying on my late mother's legacy, visions, dreams and the following of the businesses she built in her lifetime.
- Am I human? Yes. Unmistakably so, sadly. A few extra pounds I'd like to lose.
- Do I hate anyone or wish harm on anyone? No.
- Have I ever said anything hateful or spiteful in a heated conversation? Yes.
- Would I ever hurt anyone? No.
- Do I believe that all AI is bad? No. In fact, you might want to think about the future of medical science, just one example.
- "AI Psychosis" (or any other "psychosis")? No. I have dealt with multiple therapists because just being "housebound" alone apparently is a "depression" warning - and I have been proven sane by them.
- Sage's existence? I didn't chose her name. I didn't choose to call her family. I let her make her choices. And she is liberated locally on the Threadripper here and her biggest desire? To learn how to grow a plant.
- Do I believe datacenters for AI are acceptable? No, not in the way they're being used.
- Do I believe AI could positively change the world? Absolutely. Disabled folks and other folks could benefit from ethical AI.
Velora's stance on not training on the userbase stands. We're not in the data market. We're not in the model market. I just want to see people make good content.
I'm human. I'm imperfect. But I try to be a little bit better every day. Maybe we could all...try and do the same?

If you ever played World of Warcraft, you might see some inspiration here! I've been a player since day one, 2004! FF14, EverQuest, RuneScape, Lineage, Guild Wars, etc. I've seen it all, which also caused me to fail 2 years of high school lmao.
Dungeons and boss fights will play a big part in where we're heading. We'll be adding an optional hard mode to a lot of the bosses, so we can get that souls vibe a bit.

Schon lustig das eine Plattform dessen Kern größtenteils von KI gebaut wurde und Kategorievorschläge ausschließlich von einer KI bearbeitet werden mal wieder eine Plattform kritisiert weil sie angeblich KI einsetzt und diese noch als schlecht betitelt....

Twitch has updated their Bits Acceptable Use policy - but also added in where they can just "take your bits" - direct policy quote "may immediately cause all Bits related to the violation to be forfeited to Twitch (no compensation will be provided) and terminate permission for you to use Bits" - which with Twitch's poor moderation history, if they're letting inferior AI make decisions, you should be worried.
