Which was what exactly? Our best friend? Your people are Americans culturally, ethnically, and even geographically, as a majority of your population lives near our border. You’ve always considered this fact a threat to your nationhood and always been just as passive aggressive.
The 2028 presidential winner is probably going to be a center-left Democrat who used to be a radical progressive but is forced to tone things down because most of Latin America is conservative, Europe is heading towards nationalism, and people want to move on from polarization.

Nobody actually cares about Tom Tiffany or David Crowley. The election in Wisconsin is going to be about Trump. Should it be that way? Obviously not. The governor is a state office. But the average voter doesn’t care.
Different situation, but in both of the situations it was incredibly scummy. It was also scummy when Trump turned Obama’s brother against him, and it’s scummy when Trump’s niece went after Trump. It’s never ok.
