That's how long the BBC's emergency radio studio is built to stay on air with no resupply if Britain goes dark. No power. No internet. No phones.
The BBC just revealed its plan for "Black Sky": a huge blackout or cyberattack that leaves MILLIONS without power or communication.
Lancaster got a taste in 2015. A flood cut power to 61,500 people:
Lights and heat off
↓
Some water pumps stopped
↓
Shops shut, most cash machines failed
↓
Traffic lights failed
Only 2 ways to communicate survived: copper landlines and FM radio.
Here's the backup plan:
→ 100 STAFF: about 100 people will run a special radio studio.
→ SEALED FOR 3 DAYS: its own power, fuel, water and food for at least 72 hours.
→ FM RADIO: towers cut off from the internet keep official messages on air when phones and internet are DOWN.
→ SCRIPTS READY: government messages are pre-written, even on toilet waste without flushing.
→ PLANES: the government is spending £70 million developing planes that can circle the UK and give at least a week of backup phone and internet signal.
Now zoom out.
The government tells households to keep at least 3 days of food and water, an FM radio and cash.

If Anthropic is merging more than 30,000 code changes per day, why aren't the GitHub issues being assigned and addressed?
This is a great question on r/ClaudeAI.
I think there's a bigger question:
Why aren't Anthropic triaging this with a software factor?
There's a risk that the issues could be used for prompt injection, but you'd have thought if any organisation has the expertise to build a software factory that can review the issues, filter out the risky ones and assign the ones that matter to either another agent or a human for further review fix, it would be Anthropic.
Building such a software factory and letting us see it work would make a better marketing case study than claiming to be merging 30,000 PRs per day!

Especially painful since many are heavily autistic as well, and when you can't do what is your special interest and can't even force yourself it hurts so bad, often worse after autistic burnout, can take half a decade even to do again the very thing which you love, have passion for and makes you happy.

But a new high-resolution study of those same chambers locked the goalposts in place.
The team documented the known marks and found additional ones that had never been published.
Including a new team name involving the goddess Wadjet and census dates that fit Khufu’s reign.
Khufu’s name doesn’t just appear once. It appears in more than a dozen instances across multiple variants.
The short form Khufu, the fuller Khnum-Khufu, and his Horus name Medjedu, all embedded in work-gang labels.
In 1837 hieratic was barely understood. Even the experts who examined the copies didn’t fully grasp the orthography and variants.
Perring and Vyse had no way of knowing what authentic 4th Dynasty quarry marks were supposed to look like. Yet, the marks they recorded match later independent surveys and the recent findings.
The marks were painted on the blocks before they were set in place. They aren’t modern forgeries. BOOM 💥
