«ما را مجبور کردند زیر چادری پنهان شویم، اما ما این هستیم: زنانی آزاد، پیش‌رو و قدرتمند؛ فارغ‌التحصیل از برترین دانشگاه‌های جهان، فعال در سازمان‌های بین‌المللی و شرکت‌های چندملیتی، خود انتخاب می‌کنیم چه پوششی داشته باشیم و زندگی می‌کنیم آن‌گونه که خود می‌خواهیم.»
این پیام، قلب تپنده کارزار جدیدی در اینستاگرام با عنوان «مجبور به این شدیم، اما ما این هستیم» است.
این حرکت توسط صفحه «وومن پوست» آغاز شده و تاکنون بیش از ۱۵ هزار نفر به این کمپین پیوسته‌اند تا صدای زنان افغانستان باشند.
مریم رسولی، یکی از شرکت‌کنندگان در این کارزار، به افغانستان اینترنشنال گفت که این کمپاین تلاش دارد کلیشه‌های جنسیتی تحمیل‌شده از سوی طالبان را به چالش بکشد و چهره واقعی زن افغان را به نمایش بگذارد؛ زنی که همچون دیگر زنان جهان حق دارد آزاد باشد و خود، صاحب بدن خویش باشد.

Nargis Nehan the founder of CFFA received King Charles III Coronation Medal. The government of Canada recognized several deserving individuals for their contributions to Canada for their outstanding achievement globally. Among the others, this medal was given to three women from Afghanistan, Iran and Ukraine for their tireless advocacy for women’s rights and democracy.
The medal was given by Senator Ratna Omidvar and Senator Donna Dasko at #SamaraCentreforDemocracy.
