ALT Why build an Augmentative and Alternative Communication app? The introduction of affordable AAC mobile apps has increased their acceptance in the public sphere. AAC mobile apps are more accessible to the general population, are more widely adopted by adults who need them, and have improved functionality. WordSmith will add value to the existing market of easily downloadable AACs while incorporating its unique and concise features to focus on each user's needs.
