While listening to students share their ideas on connection and being SEEN, HEARD, and VALUED, spotted in the crowd was a nice reminder.

Effective leadership begins with understanding how to connect with others. Teach them young #FutureLeaders

Our program focuses on how powerful connection is. With true connection,is the understanding of what it means to be SEEN~HEARD~VALUED. We all deserve it, creatives too, thus the Oscars. There is a parallel of what the Oscars are for actors, WEC is for students globally. #Oscars – at Claremont, CA

Is social media about sharing or listening, or both and what are the patterns we see with humanity. Social media/technology can be a conduit of connection, but if we don’t have the awareness and tools of “how to connect”, then will we ultimately receive the benefits it can offer?
