Board-certified radiologist. Completed U.S. residency and fellowship. Director of Breast Imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. And yes, she is also an IMG, having graduated from Ross University School of Medicine. A reminder that IMGs are not “less qualified”, many follow the exact same rigorous U.S. training pathway and go on to lead at top institutions. Her nomination comes after Casey Means’s bid faced scrutiny over not completing residency and lacking an active medical license, along with controversial public health views.
