RG 🔜 Sonic Expo Dallas

This one broke me. Literally the kindest man in the industry, his name was Eric Bauza. Most people knew him as a voice acting powerhouse and a MAJOR fan of animation. What some didn’t know was that he was Canadian and also co-founded an AWESOME clothing brand called RetroKid, which was a brand that celebrated nostalgic Canadian shows, mainly. He always supported the things that he was passionate about. He always supported other creatives. I’m literally tearing up while typing this, because I was one of them. He would reach out and tell me to keep going with the music that I was working on (I’ve done an awful job of that). RetroKid would send me specific items that he KNEW I was really excited about. Eric did that. We’d talk about voice acting and animation, just as two passionate nerds of the industry. I made sure that he knew how much I admired his work, he made sure that the admiration was always reciprocated. He didn’t have to take the time out of his busy days to do that, but just getting that support from someone who’s work I admired, was just everything to me. It always meant a lot to me. HE meant a lot to me. So to his loved ones, I’m so sorry. We definitely lost a great one. 🙏
