Congressional Democrats scored their greatest electoral triumph in over 50 years on Tuesday. Here’s why the only logical next step is for all of their leaders to step down.
Influencers, media pros and politicos on the left and right only mention Kamala Harris in a negative light for years... and then want everyone to note that the most upwardly-mobile faction of voters don't want to choose her at a political fan convention.
Please tell the class how many Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, NC, Texas and MISSOURI voters comprise that 990 data sample.

DSA is majority black (with many black women), you should know what you're talking about before you speak on this.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
DSA is not majority Black. Internal demographic data shows the organization is majority white. An official 2021 national survey found 85% of respondents were white and 4% Black, while a 2026 survey found 66% of new members were white and 6% Black. democraticleft.dsausa.org/wp-content/upl… theguardian.com/us-news/2026/o…

And since we are on the topic of Mississippi…make sure Brett Favre pays that money back!!!
Somehow knew this was the root of her behavior as soon as this started making the rounds. Not shocked.

Raven says she felt angry after seeing Gabourey be embraced for her size vs the era Raven came up in. It’s about an hour and 10 minutes into the conversation, as they were basically playing a game of keep or kill and the topic of fatphobia in Hollywood came up.
The AZ legislature saw a wider swing from R to D than anywhere except NH* and the wins went deep into GOP territory.
The question all the “it’s not their fault it’s Trump’s” people need to answer is: Why did the wave hit AZ harder than other states?
I wrote about why below.
*NH has a 400 member house and massive swings have been the norm for past few cycles.
Here is the thing you won’t see (apparently) any AZ Repubs reflect on as they act like innocent victims of outside forces:
Why did the blue wave go farther down ballot in AZ than other states? Why did deep red leg. districts go blue?
It wasn’t that we dummymandered here like they did in TX, GA & NC making the map easier to overtake.
The reason is voters here did not see any difference between these legislators and Trump, because even the “moderate” ones were completely deferential to TPUSA TO Hoffman to Trump.
Look at what they focused on legislatively.
Look at what their campaigns focused on message wise. Look at the popular policies that they just block, things like common sense ESA reform. And look how they all are reacting to this ass kicking now. Zero accountability. All blame.
Pointing to down ballot losses is not the exoneration you all think it is.
The fact that there are probably hundreds of stories like this, and they're only now being taken seriously.

Btw, though:
Things shouldn’t have to hit rock bottom for y’all to get some sense at the polls.

Kamala Harris is one of the very few democrats who knew the power that is in Mississippi! She started her campaign speech for Scott Colom with “MISSISSIPPI MATTERS!”
Because it does matter! Every vote matters!

Kamala Harris paid attention to the South for years, before others realized something was brewing on the ground. She focused on uplifting local leaders and boosting turnout in districts Democrats had forgotten. These stops don't even include all the fundraisers she hosted in CA for Southern candidates. Stop disrespecting her work.
"Some Democrats have just basically said, 'Oh, that's nice if you wanna do some work in the South, but we can't win the South, therefore we will not put the resources into it.' That's a huge mistake… and if we're going to be a party that cares about all the people, we have to put the resources into speaking with them and most importantly, first and foremost, listening."
Kamala Harris (August 2026)
