MULLIN WALL UPDATE: The Trump administration expects to complete the primary wall along the U.S.-Mexico border in 2027 despite thousands of lawsuits challenging construction, Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin said Tuesday.
Mullin said the administration is accelerating construction of physical barriers and installing advanced surveillance technology to strengthen border security and prevent illegal crossings.
"We'll be done with the primary wall in 2027," Mullin said. "We've been slowed down a little bit because we're having issues with some environmentalists who are trying to file lawsuits."
