Absolute pleasure to join you all and so good to see so many familiar faces. I am thoroughly enjoying my role and am looking forward to being involved in the next part of this great cricket clubs journey.
Thank you to all those who attended the post-season lunch on Friday. Another great meal! Then on Sunday, we welcomed @SharpyKev0604 , the president of the player's association. His anecdotes were very intriguing and witty. Thanks for accepting our invitation Kevin.

Just had a call from one of the lads - they’ve just emerged from a six-hour revision session (no more today as they have to manage their quizloads)… the player, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: “My Dad can’t answer a question without asking one himself.Clueless! #champions”

In an outrageous move from the dads, a couple of the lads have had threats of their pocket money being withdrawn if they win. Also hearing stories a week out from the event of drones being dispatched to check on rival training methods. No love lost…
