Their concept isn’t anything special nor their music. People aren’t really interested in another black pink, they want another group that was as big and culturally relevant as black pink.
ANNIE’s scans and the English translation of her interview from ELLE Korea’s November 2026 special edition, “Hello, Little Love”
The ANNIE we don’t all get to see
There is an ANNIE we don’t all get to see. She’s a member of ALLDAY PROJECT, radiating powerful energy on stage; a student who used to rush back and forth between music and academics; and, at the end of the day, someone who slips into her pajamas, lies in bed watching TV, and eventually falls asleep. The ones who often witness this side of her are her dogs, Echo and Koda. When the three of them lie side by side, there’s hardly any room left on the bed. How did these three girls end up sharing one bed?
Echo and Koda are both large Labrador Retrievers. Echo, with her gentle, soulful eyes, is the older sister, while Koda, who energetically wags her long white tail, is the younger one. When Koda first arrived at the home ANNIE shared with Echo, she was only about a third of Echo’s size. Now, she’s grown almost as big as her older sister.
Among the three who gathered for the photoshoot, ANNIE is the most petite, while the two Labradors have quite a presence of their own.
“I haven’t been able to see Echo and Koda much lately because I’ve been preparing for my comeback. I’ve been looking forward to today’s shoot. I filmed a music video in Japan and returned a few days ago, and today is also the first time I’m giving them the gifts I brought back.”
The way ANNIE and Echo and Koda interact on set is incredibly natural. Whenever ANNIE calls their names, the two dogs come running over and show their affection by nudging her with their noses. ANNIE responds with a familiar “Echo! Koda!” Rather than making a big fuss over each other, they seem to share the kind of bond where they can welcome one another without needing to say much. It’s the picture of a family that stays connected even when simply being together.
ANNIE never thought of herself as someone who was particularly obsessed with cute things. She was quite understated, at least until she met Echo and Koda. Now, she could spend the entire day looking at photos of her two dogs, and sometimes feels such an overwhelming rush of affection that she wants to run straight home just to pet them.
Love really is something you can never quite figure out.
“I’m surprised by this side of myself too. I think Echo and Koda have naturally become such a big part of my everyday life that just looking at them makes me happy. They’ve become beings who give me strength.”
Echo and Koda have brought out a side of ANNIE that even she didn’t know existed. Fans have probably already noticed that ever since the two dogs became part of her family, they’ve been appearing on her Instagram Stories more and more often. And the collection of dog photos is still growing.
Of course, life together as three girls (or technically four, including ANNIE’s younger sibling) wasn’t always smooth from the beginning.
On the day Koda first came home, ANNIE’s biggest concern was how Echo would react. She had no idea how Eco would respond to the arrival of a new friend. But what happened next? Echo welcomed Koda with open arms. ANNIE still vividly remembers the first moment the two dogs met.
And so, three very different beings gradually learned to share the same space. Now, they lie side by side on one bed without needing to argue over whose spot is whose.
On stage, there’s so much ANNIE still wants to show the world. There is music she hasn’t released yet, new genres she wants to explore, and countless performances she hasn’t had the chance to share. But in front of Echo and Koda, she doesn’t have to prove or show anything.
