Now is the time of women! 🌿✊ For the 8th March we want to send our warmest greetings to all you beautiful comrades. Just as civilization began with the productive force of women and mothers - the female creator giving birth to women and men, agriculture, architecture, language, arts, clothing, culture and believe, being one with the cosmic forces of the universe and nature - the 21st century is calling on us as women worldwide. Now is the time of women. This is a call, but also a need for the decision to struggle. As Abdullah Öcalan says to "begin the enormous practical task, of implementing the ideology of women's liberation. Of taking a qualitative leap from the ideology of women's liberation to a political practice of women's liberation", turning the 21st century into a positive revolutionary struggle. Nothing is more internationalist then the united struggle of us women, having been enslaved spiritually and physically, having been wholly colonized as the first nation to bring again to freedom that devine force of our common existence. The 3rd World War has entered a more extreme phase of protracted wars, military interventions, genocidal politics, mass rape culture and daily intensified special warfare against our thoughts and our bodies. We thus pledge to also intensify our efforts to building an "ecological, democratic, and communal social system based on women's freedom". We women must bring our collective universal strength to the forefront, as it is a strength of solution, becoming a leading force for freedom and peace worldwide. Today is a historic and very hopeful day for all refugees from Afrin! 🫒🫒🫒 After most of them had to flee several times since their forced displacement from Afrin in 2018, Ibrahim Heftaro from the Afrin Social Association together with the Council of Displaced Persons from Afrin and Shehba, was able to announce today the safe return of a first group of 400-500 families to Afrin. The return is to be carried out under international supervision to ensure the safety and proper implementation of the return process.

This is very moving! In solidarity with their fellow student Fatma Mihemed, who lost all her family members and her legs in an attack by HTŞ on her family's home in Xirab Hişkê, the students of Kobane University are making a statement on their knees.

A participant in the "People's Caravan for the Defense of Humanity" describes the sexual abuse she suffered while in Turkish custody. They had tried to reach Rojava to draw attention to the cruel and, in many cases, sexualized violence that women in particular suffer here as a result of attacks by HTŞ. But just as she makes it clear that it is not only her, but every woman who fights against the patriarchal system who suffers sexualized violence, she assures us that the struggle for women's freedom is a common one, in which every experience of violence that our friends endure strengthens our will for revenge through building a free life.

While all eyes are on the #msc26 Munich Security Conference, Bogota is hosting another conference that is important in a different way, bringing together women and indigenous peoples. Forced by the Damascus interim government the Arab population keeps exhuming the remains of their children, who fell as martyrs in the war against ISIS, from the cemetery in the Al-Karamah region of Reqqa. Farhad Şamî, Director of the SDF Media Center, stated that out of 12.000 martyrs in SDF there are 5.821 martyrs from the Arab component of the society in Syria. We remember them once again and condemn the disrespectful treatment of their remains. In our hearts, they rest in peace and dignity and will never be forgotten. 🌹🌹🌹
