That’s the kind of assertiveness we need from our commissioner.Have to be bold and fearless in this unruly society. Let unruly members of the public aware that any act of violence against our police officers will be met by force !!!!! @JamaicaConstab @Delroychuckjm @mns_jamaica

The best relationships are the ones where both people are equally committed to making it work. It's not about finding the perfect person, it's about finding the person who's willing to grow with you.
Please accept another 9 we need the money 💰
Nine more individuals transferred to Jamaica under the third-country national (TCN) agreement with the US have departed the island, Foreign Affairs Minister Senator Kamina Johnson Smith has announced, while reiterating that Jamaica is not accepting criminal deportees under the arrangement.
Speaking at a post-Cabinet press briefing on Wednesday, Johnson Smith disclosed that the nine individuals departed on Tuesday, leaving 11 others in Jamaica whose departure arrangements are at various stages of processing.

I am convinced that some people’s mouth should be cut open vertically. At least when they open it we will know there’s nothing but garbage that comes out.
Jamaicans are ungrateful!!!
According to ODPEM 24,000 houses were completely destroyed.
190,000 homes had severe structural damages
Over 1/2 million residents in 4 parishes were displaced.
Yet, I hear persons asking a year after and what..
A year later those persons expect that 54% of our taxes exhausted on care packages, clean up etc can fix everything in less than 12 months.
I say less than 12 months because we had to assess and clean up before anything happened for the residents.
Yes, some things could be faster, there is no denying but to ask such a question is ridiculous for any country to clean up, provide roofs, structure, build back hospitals, police stations, health Centres, schools in 12 months is asking a small developing state too much.
This was a category 5 hurricanew that brought such devastation never seen before on our soil.
We were able to bring electricity back to the people in 4-5 months.
So far, the government has assisted 54,000 Jamaicans with cash back to help with rebuilding, $12.5 billion dollars spent.
Another $9.5 billion was announced by the PM yesterday for the remaining homes assessed.
I am proud to say that even with the devastating impact of Melissa and the spend, not one public servant has been laid off.
This is leadership and we should be proud Jamaicans knowing we are in a financially secure place after Melissa impacted so many.
Let us think and stop the partisan rhetoric because that's what it is.
