#SCENE first half review:
The first half is fairly brief and offers some variety in terms of theme, narrative, and Jithu Madhavan’s trademark subtle humor. The subtle humor worked at times and not consistent
The plot twists are introduced neatly, and the protagonist’s characterization is the USP. Suriya did well
The only major issue so far is that it feels more suited to an OTT watch than a theatrical experience.

Hello @_mrchaturvedi ,
Ramayana Real IMAX versus Digital IMAX screen
Ramayana is NOT presented in 1.43:1 IMAX format. Everyone knows Ramayana uses the 1.90:1 aspect ratio, but the difference in actual visible picture size between a giant Real IMAX screen and a standard Digital IMAX screen is still staggering!
Real IMAX theater(the one we watched) is 70 × 50 ft screen ; At 1.90:1 ratio its active projection area 70 × 37 ft = 2,590 sq ft
Digital IMAX theaters (50 × 26 ft screen): 50 × 26 ft = 1,300 sq ft
2,590 vs 1,300 sq ft nearly DOUBLE the picture area
Even at the same 1.90:1 aspect ratio, the sheer size of a giant Real IMAX screen makes a massive difference. That’s exactly what we’ve been emphasizing - we watched Ramayana on a Real IMAX screen, and the visual grandeur at that scale was simply mesmerizing!

Never thought I’d find myself defending Balayya, but why make such a huge fuss over things that happened a decade ago when you chose to work with him a second time?
And the roles you’re doing now are arguably even more regressive, bordering on soft porn. The same industry you’re criticising gave you an excellent debut,
soft launching with Dhoni (2012). She was even nominated for Best supporting actress for that role as far i remember.
Radhika Apte has opened up about her experience working in Telugu cinema, revealing that she was asked to marry her own cousin in a film.
She also spoke about being paired opposite a much older actor and how her character was killed off halfway through the movie.
The film in question is Legend (2014), starring Nandamuri Balakrishna. But if she had a problem with the storyline or romancing an older actor, wouldn't she have known about the script and the hero before signing the film?
She agreed to do the movie back then, yet is raising these issues years later while calling out patriarchy in the industry.

When someone commits a heinous crime, the first response should be empathy & an attempt to understand the larger problem. Not finding a convenient scapegoat in cinema.
It is becoming increasingly clear that your concern is not for the victims or their families, but that you're using a horrific tragedy as a dirty excuse to settle your personal scores.
This is especially directed at those failed frustrated jobless male/female actors, few directors, producers & parasites, who suddenly appoint themselves as social reformers whenever an opportunity arises to take a dig at someone else's work.
A tragedy deserves empathy 🙏, not opportunism. Learn the difference.

No, Mr. Vanga, you are totally wrong! Before films like Kabir Singh, Animal, and Dhurandhar, India had no misogyny or heinous crimes. It was a crime-free country. But ever since these films were released, crime in India has increased by 80%.
You and Aditya Dhar are responsible for every crime happening in the world today.
You should take Dhruv Rathee’s online AI course and learn how to make films.
