Bellinger is a Scott Boras client.
And negotiating with Scott Boras is a nightmare.
Here’s David Samson (ex Marlins President) explaining what the process is like:
Negotiating with Scott Boras 101
Former players don’t want to speak out due to this.
They want to be welcomed back to the Stadium, enjoy a free luxury suite on Hal, and take in the country club fraternity that the Yankees have created for all those that stay in line.
It’s a shame what’s happened.
Jorge Posada feels unwelcome around Yankees in shocking reveal: 'I don't think they want me there' trib.al/i1Fn3gL
I mean this was an absolute head scratcher
This is what happens when you live and die by the matchups
Kevin Cash decided to ignite a Rays WS comeback by sitting Aranda,Hicks, & Palacios who have combined for 17 RBI & 28-100 .28O BA in the playoffs for players that are a combined 2-22 .090 1 RBI. Just think about that for a minute . #RaysUp @RaysBaseball @MLBONFOX @MLB
Who are you rooting for Craig?
Craig: “Polymarket.”
We live in the worst timeline.
Though he's not supporting either team, "The Office" star Craig Robinson is at the Trop for Game 3.

Here's how the conversation went
Cashman : did Judge tell you to say that ?
Rizzo : no
Cashman : ok great.... either way please put an end to this nonsense... it would be a pity if you were never invited for Old Timers Day and other Yankees events..... good talk
Pays $5k for a World Series ticket just to forget he was even there.
I don’t understand how this is enjoyable, isn’t the point to watch history?
Guy is complaining about “how painful” it is to be a Tampa Bay sports fan 💀
Since 2000:
Bucs: 2 Super Bowls, 2 wins
Lightning: 5 Stanley Cup Finals appearances, 3 Cups
Rays: 3 WS appearances, playing for their 1st now
5 titles. 10 Finals trips.
DELUSIONAL

The Yankees and pitching coach Matt Blake have agreed on a three-year extension. @Joelsherman1 reported yesterday the sides were moving toward a deal
The Rays just checked into the famously haunted hotel the week of Halloween.
Somehow, that's not even the scariest thing they'll face this week.
That honor belongs to Misiorowski, throwing 105 MPH.

Cashman has not only signed bad deals it’s to the point where these players aren’t even useful MLB players before their contract ends up expiring. Most times it’s so bad they have to be released or end retiring bc no other team wants them.
Examples:
LeMahieu- released in 2025 wasted money through 2026 never played again. $30M wasted
Hicks- released in 2023 wasted over 4 years of contract was DFA’d off Angels in 2024 and never returned. $40M wasted
Rizzo- was out of baseball after 2024 WS and couldn’t get another contract
Verdugo- was a free agent after World Series and had a negative WAR in 200 at-bats with Braves
Stroman- didn’t pitch one inning in the 2024 Postseason. He was released after 9 games in 2025 and never pitched in MLB again. $17M wasted
Donaldson- trade for a 36-year horrendous contract and ended up taking on two years of it only for him to play 33 games in 2023 and be released. He played 17 games with the Brewers and retired before 2024.
$23M wasted and he also wasn’t good in 2022.
This trade also brought in IKF who had no business being a starting Shortstop.
Stanton- has been largely unavailable and has turned into a horrendous trade an once he is DFA’d or retires nobody will pick him up. +45M wasted
Yes it’s more but that only accounts for this past season and 2027.
McMahon- was always an awful move and he didn’t hit that well at Coors Field if he doesn’t get back to playing good defense he will also be out of baseball shortly. +32M wasted
This doesn’t even mention the awful trade deadline in 2022 when the team was one of the best in MLB only to get swept by the Astros in the ALCS.
Really only looked at a 5-year window here, but please let me know if I missed anything in this timeframe from 2022-2026
“Setting up the next generation of Steinbrenners, who will eventually take over.”
This is my personal hell
Hal Steinbrenner said he has no intention to sell the #Yankees. He says the $2.6 billion they got from Apollo is about financial stability and setting up the next generation of Steinbrenners, who will eventually take over.
