At this point when I hear someone say they don’t plan to vote, it seriously makes me question what kind of person they are.
It’s hard to respect people who watch people suffer in THIS country and decide they have no obligation to do anything about it.
Black Americans were forced to pay poll taxes, pass literacy tests, and risk their livelihoods and lives just to exercise their right to vote. Eat or vote because you can’t do both. And they still showed up.
And f*ck the single-issue excuses. Sitting out solves nothing, but showing up and being part of the collective could help end this mess.

This black college student from FAMU says that Florida has the opportunity to elect its first black Governor this year and he’s begging you to lock in and wait for the next one because of the answers Byron Donalds gave him when he asked him a question about the diversion program that had benefited Donald’s in the past when he had legal troubles and how he’s trying to act tough and roll it back now for others.
