I need @PabloTorre to figure out what is going on inside the Chiefs with Andy and the O-Line.

To head some comments/arguments off at the pass... As in any loss, there were multiple factors. Kelce's drop, Allen stopping, Spags vs play action boot with a receiver in flat, etc.
But Reid played the largest role, and that can't be ignored just because other people failed too.
Andy Reid made multiple preventable mistakes in the Chiefs' loss to DEN.
I wrote about those decisions and how they all point to a common thread; Reid needs to show he can take his own advice and learn instead of relying on "steadiness" to win the day.

I haven't felt this bad about the Chiefs at 5-2 since the Alex Smith era. Another wasted season of Mahomes. Self-inflicted once again.
If coaching keeps going this direction, no wide receiver we trade for is going to fix anything. Just keep the picks at this point and revisit in the future.

Andy Reid trusted Butker more on 54 yards in the rain than Mahomes from 1 foot on 4th down earlier in the game.
Sean Payton can get the crew to back a couple minutes in time to change the return marker. But Andy cant get them to reset the clock when they change the down and distance from 2 yards to 2 inches while the punt crew is lining up.
Coaching owns this loss today. No amount of player failures can make up for the terrible decision making coming from the sideline.

I am sorry but Andy wears this more than anyone. Didn't go for on 4th and inches and all season has treated Butker like Butker circa 2021. You knew all season he couldnt make that kick
No wonder the Chiefs aren't likely to give up their first round pick.

Chiefs have a kicker problem and @jjones9 has an answer in his most recent article.
Bring home @JustinqReid

When you fuck up, own it and take steps to fix it or never let it happen again if it's not something you can fix this time. Accountability without adjustment is useless.
Have to wonder if with the College QB draft potentially going back a year if the Jets would be interested in Garrett Nussmeier as part of a Garrett Wilson package. A QB who was considered valuable at one point before injury. A 2028 First, and a 2027 2nd maybe?
