Spent the last week or so making some UE5 blueprints to help wire up these power poles. Wire ends snap to sockets on the meshes, and we've also got some subtle wind sway that stays connected through all the clamps and splits. I need to get back to the rest of the level now but I think I'm at a spot where I can now start going around and dressing these up xD Can't wait to finally get these all textured up and everything !!!! ⚡⚡⚡

Did i need to put this much energy into power poles for this project? Probably not, but it was a lot of fun and it allows me to do things like this to speed up set dressing

The issue with AI is the people, not the tech. Devs have devoted their lives to a craft. Instead of focusing on how new tools can help them achieve the previously impossible, we have huge swaths of people who have never accomplished anything frothing at the mouth at the prospect of obsoleting people better than them. Directly spurred on by the execs of top "labs" marketing to the lowest of men.

The games we've long wanted, which didn't exist because they'd cost several times more to make than they'd earn back, will soon become possible. As will the games developers wanted to build, but couldn't with the resources available. It'll be a new golden age of gaming.

I wish 3rd person games would stop centering the character to the left, and instead put them in the center of the screen. (Or at least give me an option) Rule of thirds looks nice for cinematic shots, but it feels so weird during gameplay.
