Weird. I remember the USSR flag looking like this, with the star. An entirely different color...
A week ago I went looking for this and all the results had the red flag instead. I thought it was an elaborate hoax until today. Maybe I'm from a third reality?

Since when does the Soviet flag carry a star above the hammer and sickle?
Many of us remember it clearly without one.
