Not to do their PR for them, but Discord is gonna make it so discoverable servers can be searched by engines. Before people freak out, this ONLY applies for servers with discoverability enabled and can be tooled per channel. Your community server isn't gonna be included in this.

It only will affect new comments too. My only critique is it's opt out by default, but it seems like owners will get a big notif about it This kinda remedies a bit of the "discord has supplanted forums behind walled gardens" issues that has been a point of criticism for a while.

I could see this legitimately being useful for dev servers that have troubleshooting channels, or official game servers where players post guides.

"I'm only using generative assets as placeholders cause I can't afford artists" It's not a good excuse, but it at least is one. "Also, look at how cool these animations look in my game!" You are now using these 'placeholder' assets as a selling point.

Generative assets in the concept stage is a lot more insidious than people think. Even if you eventually swap to human-made assets, you're going to be comparing them to your generated ones, and their job is to 'finish' the computer's visuals rather than develop an art direction.

If you want something to look smoother, start with the motion, not the frames. More frames will only enhance an already smooth motion, it will not make something smooth. Focus on the minimum amount of frames to actually make the animation legible and work from there.
