I was given this all original game boy color by a customer when I worked at a pc repair store !
I always wanted one of these growing up but like most kids of that generation my parents went super well off go figure I’d be in my 30s before I got my hands on one 😭
Now I just need to build up a bigger collection of games for it
Life is too short to not take the PTO you earned and use it how you please !
I’m taking the 5th off just to play ocarina of Time and you know what ? I dont regret it at all !

The “stream every day or you’re not serious” advice is quietly burning people out — especially parents.
Some of the best hangs I’ve had were the random 60-90 minute nights when I just felt like jumping on after the kid went down. No schedule. No growth goals. Just whatever game I felt like and whoever showed up.
Forcing a stream when you’re exhausted usually just makes it worse for everyone. Consistency is nice. But authenticity beats a forced schedule almost every time.
Who else has had better streams on the nights that weren’t planned?

Let’s look at the facts the demand for chips has caused companies like nvidia to cut their production by 40%, it has nearly doubled the cost of ram and storage.
The simple fact is the demand for chips and the under supply has caused pc parts to be so price prohibitive it’s basically priced the regular customer out.
Some days you grow. Some days you fail. Both are okay.
I’ve failed more times than I can count. I’ve stayed stuck in my comfort zone. I’ve watched friends pass me by. And yeah—eventually something worked out somewhere

The hardest part is not getting discouraged. I still struggle with that every day.
I’m infinitely grateful for the friends I’ve made and the growth I’ve had this last year. I wouldn’t be here without their support.

We had a very successful Halloween last night ! Tons of kids roaming through the neighborhoods almost reminded me of when I was kid.
My plans for today are
Drink enough caffeine to see colors ✅
Clean the house
Pick up all the Halloween decorations
Play some games
And hang out with y’all !

2026 has been a lot of things but mostly I’m sad that we’ve lost a lot of the voices of our childhood. I grew up watching next generations and hearing this man’s voice almost everyday.
