I feel like anyone actually mad about the portrayal of Americans are the same people who make their eyes squinty with their fingers and use a bad Japanese accent to make jokes. I’m not sorry.
1/4 I keep seeing people complain that the American soldiers in #GodzillaMinusZero are caricatures. I personally took that as a choice and loved it. After decades of Hollywood doing the same thing to Japanese people, it felt a little like payback.

His inclusion is a nod to that issue, which is getting missed a lot by national commentators that haven’t followed Texas politics for a while.
