We have broken ground on a new Surgical Block at the Homa Bay Teaching and Referral Hospital; a significant investment in the future of healthcare for Homa Bay and the surrounding region.
This facility will expand surgical capacity, relieve pressure on existing wards, improve patient flow, and create a better environment for specialised surgical services, enhancing access to care and reducing the burden of travelling long distances.
The investment includes both infrastructure improvements and support for our healthcare workers who provide these essential services. We extend our sincere gratitude to Cabinet Secretary for Defence Hon. Soipan Tuya, Senator Moses Kajwang', MP Hon. Peter Kaluma, MP Hon.
