“If the shouting continues, I'll step outside and talk later” tells your partner what you'll do.
You can make the request and still decide to leave the conversation if it isn't respected. You don't have to make them agree before taking that step.

Imagine living next to a noisy neighbour who makes working from home a nightmare. He plays loud music at night and regularly hosts noisy meetings at his apartment. You endure it for years until he eventually moves out.
You later make more money, decide to upgrade your apartment, find a place you love and pay the rent advance.
Then you discover that the same neighbour lives in the new building.

Earlier, it used to be that if a large account commented on your post or if you managed to get even a handful of reposts, the post would instantly get amplified. This triggered few things, the post would reach a new audience, the chances of gaining new followers would increase and the account's credibility would also boost. However, now it feels as though the value of reposts and comments has been completely wiped out.
