Narcissa (checking is Harry is dead): Can you promise me 14 grandchildren at minimum?
Harry (confused): Yes?
Narcissa: He's dead!

Title: The Kiss That Awakened a Monster
Harry: Ugh, I'm tired, Hermione.
Hermione: Same.
Harry: Where's Ron, anyway?
Hermione: I don't know. Probably dead or something.
Harry: ...That's reassuring.
Fleur: Harry! There you are!
Harry: Hm? Oh, hello, Fleur.
Fleur: I wanted to thank you for saving my little sister. I shall never forget what you did for Gabrielle.
Harry: It's okay. I'm just tired.
Fleur: Then, as a little thank-you, allow me to give you something.
Harry: Huh? What do you—
MWAH!
Fleur suddenly kisses Harry on the mouth.
Harry: ...
Hermione: ...
Behind a nearby pillar, Dracaena watches the entire scene. Her eyes widen. Her smile disappears.
Dracaena: ...
Fleur: Ah, sorry, Harry! I hope you don't mind!
Harry: Uuuuuh... yes. I mean, no! I mean, it's fine!
Fleur: Hehehe! Au revoir, Harry!
Fleur waves cheerfully and walks away.
Harry: Wow. That was weird. But honestly, not even the weirdest thing that's happened to me.
Hermione: Harry.
Harry: What?
Hermione: Slowly turn your head to the left.
Harry: Why?
Hermione: Just do it.
Harry turns.
Dracaena is standing behind him, smiling.
Too much.
Dracaena: Hello, Harry.
Harry: Oh! Hey, Dracaena! How long have you been standing there?
Dracaena: Long enough.
Dracaena: Tell me, Harry. Did you enjoy her kiss?
Harry: What? No! I mean, it was just a thank-you kiss!
Dracaena: Of course, Harry. Of course.
Her fingers twitch. Her smile grows wider.
Dracaena's thoughts: SHE KISSED MY HARRY. MY HARRY. MY HARRY! THAT FRENCH WOMAN DARED TO PUT HER LIPS ON WHAT BELONGS TO ME?!
Dracaena's thoughts: I WILL FIND HER. I WILL MAKE HER REGRET THE DAY SHE EVER LAID EYES ON MY PRECIOUS HARRY. NOBODY STEALS MY HAPPINESS. NOBODY!
Harry: Dracaena? You're squeezing your wand.
CRACK.
Her wand snaps in half.
Hermione: ...Oh, bloody hell.
Dracaena: Don't worry, Harry. I'm perfectly fine.
Harry: Your wand just broke.
Dracaena: It was a cheap wand.
Hermione: THAT WAND WAS MADE OF DRAGON HEARTSTRING AND EBONY!
Dracaena: AND NOW IT IS FIREWOOD, HERMIONE!
Dracaena clings to Harry's arm with a smile that could frighten a Dementor.
Dracaena's thoughts: MY HARRY. MY PRINCE. MY EVERYTHING. NEXT TIME, I SHALL KISS HIM FIRST. A THOUSAND TIMES IF NECESSARY.

The problem isn't that Mass Effect 2 was pointless, because it isn't. A lot of ME3's story follows on threads left by ME2. The problem is that ME2 is functionally a soft reboot in the middle of the trilogy.

I love how this creator redeemed all of Slytherin by giving them more brain cells than they had in the movies. Daphne, despite being Malfoid's friend, seems to rival her. This is so Game of Thrones. Playing strategically with gossip, Daphne looks like a total poisonous viper

This is such a wildly dishonest, out of context portrayal of Dev's take here.
I included a link below to the stream itself, here are the relevant time stamps
1:11:30 - "doesn't make what she did right, she's still a rapist"
1:12:10 - "i'm sure some idiot is going to take that and pull it out of context"
1:13:55 - "this person is a piece of shit"
Always remember who these people are and why you should never trust them:
Because they lie. Blatantly. All the time. Without cessation.
(Yes I know the QT has his full name, but Dev still wanted this QT'ed and corrected hes banned on Twitter so he can't correct it so I am doing it myself)

"What do you mean, 'There are heroes on both sides'? What are the political commitments of the Confederates?"
Who cares? This is what people don't understand about the "politics" of Star Wars. You know exactly what the opening crawl means. This is an epic battle between evenly matched forces, who are both doing some of the coolest Warhammer 40k shit you've ever seen and blowing each other to smithereens. It literally doesn't even matter who's on whose side or why. The battle is just a maelstrom Anakin and Obi-Wan have to make their way through, flying like angels in perfect synchrony, to heroically rescue Satan from the clutches of Robert E. Lee.
Then their ship gets ripped in half by an attack from their own forces, and Anakin, the Messiah of the Universe, has to crash-land it through the atmosphere with the aid of his best friend, Errol Flynn, while the evil Emperor and R2-D2 glance at each other pensively, betting it all on their heroes. That's the opening of the film.
Let's dispense once and for all with this fiction that George Lucas didn't know what he was doing. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing.
Replying to @mightydudbolt
I just wish there were actual narrative ties between the CIS and rebel alliance. he should have had the Mon Calamari be Separatists with valid reason to leave the Republic, Ackbar being one of the generals and an actual example of the "heroes on both sides" mentioned in the crawl

I've never been much of a Star Wars fan, but Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith were always my favourite of the bunch, and I never understood why people disliked them. As a kid, and now, they're films that speak to me but if I had to hazard a guess, it's generational.
That is to say, I grew up in very different times from my Gen.X parents, who would have enjoyed the original trilogy as kids. They lived in peaceful times, but with an omnipresent shadow of "fascism" over their heads, culturally and politically. A narrative about some plucky rebels saving the galaxy from an evil empire that, when you get down to it on an individual level didn't even seem that bad, sounds reasonable to them. They're just trying to make everything better, after all, and more free obviously means more better!
Now contrast that with Zoomers' upbringings. We're born into a peaceful world where that same shadow of evil is little more than a lingering memory foisted upon us by our elders. Many of us receive little in the way of guidance, little in the way of recognition, our hopes and dreams are treated as silly and we're pushed to be pseudo-monastic bots serving a civilization that feels increasingly alien. Literally so, as more and more problems arise, the threats encroach closer and closer, and those same people charged with preserving order- the people who supported those rebels decades prior- invite the foreign enemy into the hearts of our civilizations. We reach adulthood asking how we can fix this, begging for our elders to do something about the problems, only to be told we're the monsters.
Anakin's 'fall', then, reads as a pseudo-mythological parallel to the Zoomer man's. Born gifted, far beyond his peers, and never rewarded for it. Never recognized. Denied the status he by all rights deserves, for reasons that remain unclear. He wants to protect his loved ones, he wants to save his civilization, and he is shunned and punished for it. It's no wonder, then, that he turns to the dark forces; at least they humour his desires.
And so, I think that Zoomers and Young Millennials appreciate the Prequels because Anakin speaks to us, and our experiences, while Gen.X, old Millennials and Boomers hate them because they're a warning for those generations; telling them directly, through the mytho-poetic formula of classic Star Wars, that their sons will burn everything down if their concerns aren't taken seriously. Of course, this warning was ignored, and now there is a generation of Anakin Skywalkers just waiting for their Emperor Palpatine to rouse them.
And if you think that you can deceive them into following you, into supporting the failed projects by presenting yourself as their Palpatine, only to hoodwink them, all you'll be doing is trading a Palpatine for a Caesar, or a Hitler.
