This is world

One of my works, Greek architecture

In the first image, a Japanese boy carries the body of his dead younger brother during World War II. The image became associated with the heartbreaking words: “He is not heavy… he is my brother.” In the second, a Yemeni mother carries her 23-year-old daughter, killed in Houthi militia shelling in Taiz, Yemen, just days ago, as if saying: “She is not heavy… she is my daughter, a piece of my heart.” The image from Japan shook the conscience of the world… Will the image from Taiz awaken what remains of the world’s conscience?
