When Queen Elizabeth died, Celtic were the only team that did not change their logo to grey as a sign of mourning.
During the one-minute silence at their first home game, Celtic fans chanted “LIZZY’S IN A BOX.”
The next match was away. Knowing that Celtic fans would boo during the minute’s silence, the home club asked the entire stadium to applaud so that their voices would not be heard.
The Celtic fans were quick to respond. They held up a banner in the away end that read:
“IF YOU HATE THE ROYAL FAMILY CLAP YOUR HANDS”

#Ireland — Ultras Derry is showing solidarity with Crippy Dillon.
Dillon is accused of failing to comply with bail conditions imposed on him for wearing a T-shirt commemorating INLA hunger striker Patsy O’Hara. At the time of his arrest, he was on his way to show his support for the residents of the Garvaghy Road.
Ultras Derry shared a message of support for Crippy Dillon alongside members of the Republican Socialist Youth Movement (RSYM):
“Free Crippy Now!”
