NIGERIANS, WAKE UP!
We don't need another promise. We need public services to work because when public money disappears, ordinary people pay the price.
Living in Nigeria teaches people to accept what they shouldn't have to: roads so bad drivers memorize potholes, dirty water, and garbage left for weeks beside homes. These problems become part of everyday life.
Most aren't individual responsibilities. We pay taxes, levies, and other charges expecting basic services, yet residents still pool money to repair roads, clear drains, and clean their surroundings. Communities shouldn’t have to repeatedly fill gaps left by institutions already funded to do this work.
Of course, citizens can care for their environment. But why must they keep compensating for institutional failures? State sanitation and environmental units are responsible for sanitation, waste disposal, and public health.
That's how corruption becomes more than politics: it determines how comfortably people live. Its consequences often appear far from where the money disappears. A former governor accused of embezzling ₦80 billion is now running for Senate in his constituency. Make it make sense!
Contracts are inflated, projects abandoned, and maintenance funds fail to produce results. Locals bear the consequences. When drainage work stalls, rain floods streets, children struggle to reach school, traders lose business, and families fear water entering their homes. They don’t need corruption explained; they live with its effects.
The harder question is accountability: Who approved the contract? How much was released? Who did the work? Where did the money go? Public resources demand tough questions and people deserve answers, not another promise.
Nedu just wants clean water. He isn't asking for a private jet, government appointment, or special privilege; he wants to clean a river. Yet even environmental improvement can become difficult when people, systems, and resources fail to work together.
In a southern community, residents live beside polluted waterways and blocked drains. They complain, organize cleanups, and contribute what they can, but removing visible rubbish is only part of the solution. Who ensures proper disposal and drain maintenance? What happens to sanitation funds? Residents can’t keep cleaning the same place while the causes of pollution remain.
Nedu's situation raises a bigger question: Why should helping a community be a struggle in a system meant to serve it? People may care deeply, yet structures can make meaningful action unnecessarily difficult.
We can’t wait for the same people to fix everything, and corruption won’t disappear through louder social media complaints. Accountability takes organization, scrutiny, and demands for better systems. Communities should also be able to address problems together without always waiting for government permission.
Imagine more Nigerians organizing neighborhood projects and protecting shared resources. That doesn't excuse public officials from their responsibility. it means citizens need not remain helpless while institutions fail to act.
That’s one idea I find compelling in the broader work around @Logos_network building systems and communities where people can coordinate, take initiative, and influence what affects their lives. The conversation isn't only about exposing corruption it’s also about enabling people to act, organize, and hold systems accountable.
Nedu wants to clean a river. Someone else wants a working road. Another wants to travel safely without fear of kidnapping. These are reasonable demands. Nigerians shouldn't feel lucky to receive basic public services.
That's the real cost of corruption and a conversation we can’t afford to stop having.

Most NFTs make ownership public, including their artwork, traits and metadata. But what if you could own an NFT without revealing everything about it?
That's what caught my attention about @FungoLabs and its use of @zama Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE).
It allows smart contracts to work with encrypted data without exposing the information behind it.
Think of gaming NFTs with hidden abilities, private stats and secret traits that can still interact with game mechanics without being visible to everyone.
This adds a new layer of utility to NFTs, especially in gaming and other privacy-focused applications.
With Fungo's Launchpad also opening doors for other creators, I'm curious to see what people will build with encrypted NFTs.
NFT innovation still has plenty of room to grow.

Posted about A7biz a few weeks ago; glad some of you joined in
Almost all the top CEXs have been hacked
While Binance just lost $6.3 Billion in 20 minutes to crypto hackers. @A7interX is out here quietly winning.
-15,000+ businesses,
-2,000+ payments every single day,
-USDT in real bank money. Swift out.
-0.3% fee, no hot wallets, no heist.
Hackers: where are the funds?
A7: we don't hold them; we just pay your invoices.🤣

One thing I’ve learned from being in web3 is that building a good product is only one part of the job.
People need to understand it.
They need a reason to trust it.
And they need to see how it fits into their lives.
This is where education, community and distribution matter.
We’re now seeing AI tools make it easier to research, create content, automate workflows and support users at scale.
For web3 projects, I think the opportunity lies in combining these tools with a clear product, a strong community and a strategy that reaches the right people.
Technology can be impressive but adoption is what gives it meaning.

A7 launch a service that aims to transform the international payments landscape.
On 13 October, the Russian international settlement system A7, developed by Bank PSB, introduced A7 International.
The new service allows users to settle a foreign counterparty’s invoice in USDT, with the funds delivered through a conventional SWIFT bank transfer in the required currency.
It is designed mainly for foreign trade operators, though individuals may also use it. The fee is a fixed 0.3 percent.
Petr Fradkov, Chairman of PJSC Bank PSB, and Ilan Shor, CEO of A7, presented the service on 13 October

I wish he was lying.
It’s crazy when you really think about the amount of freedom and opportunity we have today to make serious money with just a phone, an internet connection, a couple of apps, and the right buttons.
I needed $10K for my trip, opened a position, and made it in a couple of hours.
Being terminally online and doing the right things pays off huge.
you do not need anything else other than an internet connection & an iphone to make $1,000,000+ over the next 12 months
tokenization supercycle + 24/7 perps + social trading emerging seriously for the first time as a global metagame is going to give insane opportunities to those terminally online that learn how to trade attention & virality

The more I think about it, the more this makes sense. We have built systems where everything can be verified, but sometimes verification comes at the cost of privacy.
Privacy was never just about hiding transactions
The bigger problem is how people, institutions, and AI systems can work without exposing the information they need to protect.
That's the gap @theInterfold is filling.
Keep the data private and the outcome verifiable.
No single party needs to have complete control.
At some point, even on-chain systems are going to handle real world coordination and confidentiality can't remain an afterthought.
Interfold, which has received significant support from the Ethereum Foundation, as reflected across numerous posts on X, is building for that future.
The internet gave us infrastructure to connect, communicate, and transact. But more and more of what we need to do together now involves information that cannot simply be shared.
Digital voting should produce a public, verifiable result without exposing individual choices. Healthcare researchers should be able to learn from sensitive patient data without exposing the people behind it. Competitors should be able to solve shared problems without giving up the information that keeps them competitive.
Interfold is building infrastructure for that problem: confidential coordination.
It lets independent parties compute together across private inputs without exposing them or relying on trusted hardware. Decryption is distributed across independent operators, and anyone can verify the result.
That opens the door to digital democratic systems with secret ballots, markets built around private positions, and entirely new forms of collective intelligence.
Systems increasingly bring together people, institutions, and agentic systems with different interests and incentives. The internet needs a new coordination model built for that reality.
