Last night was our 1 year anniversary of opening!
50+ exceptional artists
9 major exhibitions
14 online releases
5 major museum acquisitions
4 international fairs
1 incredible community
Kicking off our second year is HEFT CIRCLE.
It's one of the most important initiatives we can imagine – it's about community, connecting in person, patronage, the importance of systems art, and it's always about artists.
While we present extraordinary works (come see Nancy Burson's show in its last week!), experiment with new programming (sound + art + design starting May 15!), offer new opportunities to collect (Releases, Auctions, Store, and more coming!), and host more and more intimate, insightful events at the gallery........ bringing our greater family of supporters in closer together to grow this movement – and bringing new members in along the way – is our biggest focus in a time where so much seems to be losing focus.
Art is more critical than ever in times like these, and we believe in the power of its positive influence on every facet of this world.
We've already done so much together, and can't wait for what's coming.
Details next week...

How many bidders can come together to create an artwork? Find out with Alexander Reben’s (@artboffin) 'Untitled Robot Painting.’
With each new bid the painting robot, built by @matr_lab, paints a square inch of the 12ft canvas in our galleries. Learn about Reben’s practice below and see the work in New York through 5 March.

Thrilled to add 'Facetune Portraits: Universal Beauty' by @gretchenandrew to the #RFCCollection —acquired this week from @tender_art at Untitled
This series explores how AI-driven beauty filters homogenize global standards, erasing diversity in pursuit of a monocultural ideal. By exposing the messy, algorithmic process behind these seamless transformations, Gretchen highlights the absurdity and tension of our co-existence with digital 'perfection.'
What’s remarkable is how this work uses cutting-edge technology to 'print' the oil painting, blending AI-driven creation with a traditional medium. The texture and physical presence of oil on canvas bring a humanity and tangibility to the work that digital alone simply cannot match
This work reflects the tension between reality and desire, capturing both the scars of this pursuit for uniform beauty and the individuality that algorithms erase
This piece is visually striking and deeply thought-provoking, bridging the digital and physical in a way that redefines both. Huge kudos to @tender_art for showcasing such groundbreaking art. The highlight of the week for sure! Now proudly in our home 🙌
