I spoke to ESPN and @ByEliLederman for this story about SMU’s K7NG OF DALLAS campaign:
What prompted Ole Miss take its Heisman campaign 1,100-plus miles from Oxford to the college football desert of New York City this month?
I asked around, and caught up with the Naked Cowboy, to better understand the anatomy of the modern Heisman campaign: espn.com/college-football/st…

SMU Men's Soccer is an absolute WAGON. Ranked #1 in the country, and they just locked up at least a share of the ACC Regular Season title.
They are a very, very real contender to bring a national championship home to the Hilltop...

Kevin Jennings stands alone as the best QB in SMU history. And he's the most underrated great player in the state of Texas over the last few years.

At a time when some schools have chosen to cut programs due to financial pressures--and have threatened through lobbying in Congress to cut more--SMU is actually *adding* a men's Olympic sports team.
They went out and got money from donors to kickstart the team.
NEW: SMU men's lacrosse is officially official: ACC play begins spring 2028. a group of about 20 donors raised $15m to kickstart the program; SMU expects to bank another $10m. AD damon evans told @FOS SMU expects to compete and win on "day one." we're now on portal-watch.

SMU has announced it will launch a men's varsity lacrosse program, which will begin competition in spring 2028.
It's the first new sport SMU has added in over 20 years and comes as lacrosse's popularity continues to grow across Texas.

Sources: SMU has agreed to an all-sports jersey patch deal with Texas Capital, a Dallas bank. It’s considered, by far, the biggest sponsorship deal in SMU school history. The patch will debut for SMU football this weekend against Virginia.
