Every Alabama coach since J.W.H. Pollard from 1906-09 has had at least one two-game losing streak. Even Nick Saban. Even Bear Bryant.
How did these Crimson Tide coaches respond in Game 3? And what does it mean for Kalen DeBoer?

Alabama football coach Kalen DeBoer didn't talk much about Texas A&M. He never really had a chance to.
But if the Crimson Tide wants a get-right game, the Aggies will have to be the team to do it against.

Seeing that this blew up.
First, it’s clear Ivan Taylor is not talking about the CFP, but that Alabama can’t lose another game.
Second, multiple players had this same comment ready to go.
No other interpretation of what was said by Taylor about the “playoff” is correct.
Alabama DB Ivan Taylor: "We're already in the playoffs, is how we're thinking. Our mentality is already in the playoffs. Making sure that we don't lose another game and going from top dog to being an underdog. We have our mind shifted."

People taking this as if Ivan Taylor was trying to say Alabama is legitimately in the CFP already compared to stating that the team knows they can’t lose another game, thus every week is essentially a playoff, is insanity…

Took this as Ivan (and others) saying the playoffs start now for Alabama. As in, they can’t lose another game, not Alabama is a lock for the CFP. Carry on
