Unusual for them to be this decisive. But then it is a new era (ahem). It wasn't working. I still think the shortcomings of the team/squad is a bigger problem. Although there were extenuating circumstances, Nuno certainly made mistakes. Not least with recruitment.

This is the game that everyone will remember Ludo for, of course. But we’d seen him do this many times before. He so often won the game for us with this type of display.

The best goalkeeper that I ever saw over there. The crowd took to him straight away, almost as if they could sense the good vibes. He was virtually unbeatable in 1990/91 and comfortably the MVP of that promotion season. One of WHUs best ever signings.
