Pakistan Ulema Council chairman Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Ashrafi has declared that the Houthis have “no connection with Islam,” while framing the defense of Saudi Arabia as a religious obligation.
And now perhaps some people will finally understand why this sudden wave of pro-Takfiri activism on X deserves much closer scrutiny.
The same sectarian playbook, over and over again: declare your geopolitical enemies apostates, turn political conflicts into Sunni-vs-Shia wars, and fracture the very populations that might otherwise unite around Palestine.
These people function as Israel’s shadow army, doing through sectarian polarization what Israel could never accomplish on its own.

Americans invented a word for their corruption so that it wouldn't sound like corruption.
They called it lobbying.
In most of the world, if a corporation hands a politician money and the politician then votes in that corporation's interest, we have a name for that.
The name is bribery.
The person goes to prison, or is supposed to, or at least has to conduct the transaction in a parking garage at midnight with an envelope.
In America, the transaction happens in broad daylight. It is filed with the Federal Election Commission. It is legal. It is protected, since 2010, by a Supreme Court ruling that defined the exchange of money for political access as free speech.
They looked at bribery and called it speech.
They looked at corruption and called it democracy.
And then they sent ambassadors to other countries to lecture those governments about transparency and rule of law.
The audacity is not incidental to the system.
The audacity is the system.

This is Sheikh Farouk Ramadan.
Yesterday afternoon, he and his family were attacked by settler-terrorists on their own land. Farouk managed to disarm one of the attackers. He took the settler's rifle and shot and killed two terrorists in a clear act of self-defence.
In response, Israeli soldiers murdered him and three of his family members. Israeli government and media portrays him as the terrorist, and the actual terrorists as the victims.
Don't let them push this narrative. Farouk had the full legal and moral right to resist against the genocidal terrorists who invaded his land.
