When Gen 1 came out there was a rumor that there was an alternate evolution of Pikachu, called "Pikablu" that could only happen if several requirements were met! Turns out early Marill artwork started the rumors and it wasn't until Gen 2 that we found out it was a separate line completely.. In Pokemon Crystal Clear however they made the legend real🙌
